Sure he could give up some runs just like sure I could win the lotto tomorrow. The fun of having a lockdown ace is getting to be surpremely confident that he will be amazing. If it doesn't happen that's a bridge we will cross but the odds are on another dominant start. -

Curious to see if anyone has seen or heard anything about last minute tickets released through the Cubs? In 2008 I was able to grab a ticket a day before game 1 because extra tickets were slowly released. This year when I click on tickets it says no tickets are available, it doesn't even take me to the traditional ticket buying page. Maybe there's a hidden link that I don't have so figured I would check to see if anyone smarter than me has figured out anything

The only plausible reason I can think of is the need for an extra catcher on the roster, which would indicate either Montero or Ross is hurt. Yes this...I cannot see any other reason to make the move now. I saw multiple interviews with Ross yesterday, he didn't seem to be hurt. Maybe it's just a random move that should be ignored. Who knows

It's hard to tell on Jeffery since the word was he was likely back for the Raiders game and then the Chiefs game. So who knows #disgruntledfantasyowner

You have to win game 4 before you can win game 5, that's why. It clear that he's their best pitcher and they have to win. What's his career numbers on 3 days rest. That's a factor as well. Slightly worse stuff and a shorter outing vs full rest

Well OSU is your sorta twin with underwhelming wins. They are still #1 but their votes are slipping. I think they get the benefit of doubt due to being defending champs fair or not. Also TCU also dropped last week (albeit 1 spot) after a couple of very unimpressive wins. On a side note: who would have thought a month ago that Michigan would be 7 point favorites over Sparty in this one?

I think they had no choice because Smith has a noodle arm but I think one of those 30 lateral plays had a better chance than a 66 yarder. Very very nice victory
