You have to win game 4 before you can win game 5, that's why. It clear that he's their best pitcher and they have to win. What's his career numbers on 3 days rest. That's a factor as well. Slightly worse stuff and a shorter outing vs full rest -

Well OSU is your sorta twin with underwhelming wins. They are still #1 but their votes are slipping. I think they get the benefit of doubt due to being defending champs fair or not. Also TCU also dropped last week (albeit 1 spot) after a couple of very unimpressive wins. On a side note: who would have thought a month ago that Michigan would be 7 point favorites over Sparty in this one?

I think they had no choice because Smith has a noodle arm but I think one of those 30 lateral plays had a better chance than a 66 yarder. Very very nice victory

Is it bad that as excited as I am that the Bears might have a chance to win I'm equally disappointed because there are several really good games winding down on the Red Zone channel?

Eh the extra two points makes it a FG vs a TD game. That's pretty substantial. Yeah but with 3 mins left, you can only stop the clock 3 times. The most important thing is getting the ball with time to score. I don't think what you are saying is definitely wrong but to me I need to control the clock in case the Chiefs get a 1st down or 2
