I hate the stupid bonus system in the NHL. Instead of being pumped and rooting on Panarin, it's bitter sweet because every point puts him closer to that cap crippling 1.7m bonus for finishing top 10 in points among forwards.

I don't mean to horsefeathers on your memories. Those both give me goose bumps and chills and all that when I watch. But both of those moments are in games the Cubs lost. Have no problem with them being up at the top, but those can't be the most chill worthy sports moments you guys have. Just do us all a favor and make a Schwarber Bomb #1. There is so much stuff on Cubs Youtube these days. Not as much old stuff but tons of stuff from 2014 and 2015. Pretty much any decent Cubs power hitter has an "All 2015 HRs in order" video out there. My favorite part about this (other than Strop running down the line with Bryant) is that at the beginning of the year, a lot of the walkoffs were bloops, bloopers and seeing eye singles. It is impossible to quantify how much better Wrigley Food has gotten since the Ricketts took over. It wasn't too long ago when your choices were hot dog, polish sausage, hot dog with polish sausage, cold cheese fries, cold slice of connies pizza or pretzel and you could wash it down with old style or bud light.

Only one person in the group even picked the Pirates to make the playoffs which seems crazy. CJ Nitkowski sucks, and I don't care if its one of those 'you suck because you didnt pick my team' things. Keep posting predictions as they come out, this is fun.

Revenge porn* prospect, just in case anyone reads that without knowing the background, but yeah, been a rough year all things considered. Wasn't the classiest move by the Hawks to drop the press release reinstating that prospect at around 10:30 last night, essentially on a technicality (was in Michigan where the crime occured, and it's only a felony in Illinois). No suspension or anything that I've seen as of yet. wow revenge rape is a pretty bad brain fart. Yes revenge porn. And yes pretty shitty, especially saying that he was cleared of all charges, which while technically true, is like you said a technicality. And he could still be charged with a misdemeanor in MI.

Between all the winning, Kane's situation, the revenge rape prospect and Keith's occasionally very dirty play, the Hawks are becoming quite hated in hockey fan circles. At least everyone still loves Toews.
