    Blackhawks have outplayed them (at least in terms of CORSI) most of the series. The blues are probably better but I'm not convinced the Hawks were the better team in any of the past 3 playoff series they've played and we've been able to win.

    There might not be another gear for this years Blackhawks. Terrible PK and terrible defensive depth carried over from the regular season and have killed us thus far this series Not to mention bad 5 on 5 numbers. Oh and the deadline acquisitions have (I believe) 0 points this series. A lot of it though is simply bad luck. Hawks have gotten some breaks but I think we've also carried play most of this series without a ton to show for it. Unbelievable performance by Elliott Sucks because we traded a lot of pieces to build this team and next years team might be worse Still time though. Being down 3-1 without home ice is still not a death sentence for these Hawks if they can't come back tonight.

    why do you keep acting like strop isn't great? It's just Strop vs the Cardinals, he blew like 2 games in absurdly dramatic fashion last year I mean its whatever though But locked them down in game 4 of the NLDS which in my mind erased any bad juju between Strop and the Cards. Now the fact that Costas is in the park is something to be concerned with

    Wood pitches like every game. I'd actually rather Richard come in there over Wood. Not because I think Wood sucks like others, just that one is used very frequently and the other could use the work. Or just give Strop the inning

    Another weak pop up for Rizzo. So weird he looked pretty locked in the first week of the season and now he looks likes garbage It feels like the Cubs go through slumps and hot streaks together, save some exceptions.

    Probably one of those rare instances where LD% validates a BABIP that low Jk I really have no feel for how hard Rizzos been hitting the ball lately outside of that pop up just now

    Too bad the Texans have the Bears number. They've played 3 times: -2004 killed the myth of Bear weather in a shutout win that killed what tiny bit of playoff hope they had left -2008 beat the Bears in week 17 to eliminate them from playoff contention -2012 beat the 7-1 Bears, sending them into a death spiral that ended with us missing the playoffs, getting lovie canned and giving us the Marc Trestman era
