  1. So Trump's latest comments about the Cubs/Ricketts are basically an admission that he has no dirt on the Cubs and that he just talks (or tweets) out of his ass right?
  2. [tweet] [/tweet]
  3. Deadspin pointed out a couple of crazy things that I didn't even realize about the comeback as I watched: -UNI shot 0 FTs during the comeback -Texas A&M only made one 3 pointer during the comeback So you're telling me a team was down 12 points with 44 seconds left and managed to take things to OT without having to foul once, and only making a single 3 pointer? Insane.
  4. Soler destroys a pitch for a 2 run HR. He might be pretty good.
  5. Cubs lineup: [tweet]https://twitter.com/lbergstrom/status/711639689418002432[/tweet]
  6. Good effort Iowa
  7. Yeah Grimm and Ramirez were both lit up tonight. On the bright side, Murton singled tonight
  8. So with Gawker losing a $115m judgement to Hulk Hogan, how long until Deadspin goes offline?
  9. Everyone wants to be the next Trey Burke Overall Michigan played fine defensively. ND just hit a crapload of jump shots and Michigan went stagnat offensively for too long which is their thing. Was hoping that this wouldn't happen against such a statistically poor defensive team but oh well. It just sucks that we would have had a decent shot at getting to the sweet 16 against SFA which would be fantastic for a team that was dead in the water 2 weeks ago.
  10. Typically 2-3 of them win the title every year
  11. Time to make history
  12. He still has his 200-to-1 bet on Michigan winning it all so he's not sad. Yet.
  13. http://espn.go.com/chalk/story/_/id/14991087/the-10-biggest-ncaa-tournament-upsets-20-seasons Fourth biggest in the last 20 years by point spread. If it's not the biggest upset it's because MTSU is better than the other 15 seeds that won, because MSU was possibly the best team to lose in the first round of the tourney.
  14. Michigan State and Purdue meet in Big Ten tournament final: out in round of 64 Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana lose to Nebraska, Illinois and Michigan respectively in their 1st BTT game: onto the 2nd round
  15. Lol the Cubs were 1 hit today. That one hit? Candelario
  16. So this is going great for the Big Ten
  17. Sparty 0-2 in playoff games this year
  18. This is the biggest upset in NCAA tournament history IMO
  19. My Midwest bracket is torn up. I am 2-5 picking those games, and the last game of the first round is Michigan State who is getting to the point in the game where there is legit upset potential.
  20. So just any '90's eurodance? I thought you guys were just doing La Bouche? Who cares what the intentions are, its now anything that you would hear if you turned on B96 in 1994
  21. Dayton shooting 29% from the field and 4/9 from the FT line. Not a great showing so far.
  22. I'm going to go find my elementary english teacher and punch her in the face
  23. Cubs lineup: Dexter Fowler(S) CF Jason Heyward(L) RF Anthony Rizzo(L) 1B Miguel Montero(L) C Jeimer Candelario(S) 3B Albert Almora® LF Kristopher Negron® SS Arismendy Alcantara(S) 2B Kyle Hendricks® P
  24. It was a dumb question, Yale is an exceptional rebounding team Not only that but Baylor shot 44% from the field vs. Yale's 53%. Yale had 15 more defensive rebounding opportunities than Baylor.
  25. Hmm....4 double digit seeds won, 8 of 16 games with a margin of 10 points or less, 3 great finishes (Yaylor, ALR/Purdue, Prov/USC), 2 of them involving buzzer beaters to send to OT or win, and ALR/Purdue was an all time classic opening round game IMO. It wasn't a spectacular bonkers day, but I don't think the day sucked at all. There was an opening round day either last year or the year before where I believe it went pretty much chalk except for 8/9 games and a large majority of the games were blowouts. That day sucked. This one had its moments.
