    Eh Giants have a great offense and the Cubs bats aren't getting much done. These are the types of outings that you occasionally extend your ace for, especially on the closest thing the Cubs have had to a losing streak all year.

    This just makes me in complete awe all over again at how dominant Jake was in the 2nd half last year. That this Jake, with his 1.4something ERA is noticeably worse.
