Why the hell would you remove your best horsefeathering hitter right before extras when you are counting on a guy with a .630 OPS for the year and quite a bit worse against lefties? There is like a 10% chance Szczur for Rizzo matters eleven if Heyward gets a hit, and at best a 20% chance he even gets a hit.

Remember when everyone said Jake would take a step back this year because he threw so many innings more than every other season in his career and would probably suffer from fatigue and we mostly dismissed it?. Is that what's happening?
