  1. Meanwhile Zobrist lines one right up the middle and its somehow snagged. Bryant hits one on a line with the bases loaded and its right to Granderson etc That KB flyout wasn't bad luck, he hit it right to the middle of CF He had solid contact to the right spot like loney had weak contact to the wrong spot

  3. Of course. Gets completely jammed and rewarded with a lead off hit
  4. That's it. I don't think they've even had one where they've taken the lead in the bottom of the 8th, other than the Atlanta game, where they scored 5 to win 6-1. Wasn't Addisons home run in the home opener in the 8th?
  5. Figures we get Syndergaard out of the game and the offense stops getting on base
  6. Pretty sure that's the only one. Which is crazy because it felt like we had at least one every home stand last year
  7. Someone on the mets must have seen us swing at a lot of high strikes because every time we get behind in the count they start pounding us with high heat
  8. Yeah if we lose its one of those games where you do the right things but luck isn't on your side
  9. I less prefer Javy hitting here, vs a RHP. Also pulling Jake with less than 90 pitches in a tie game. I'd let him take the AB, he's hitting like .290
  10. Phew. Jake a little less efficient after the 4th inning but still getting results. Guessing he will be allowed to lead off this inning and pitch the 8th
  11. So we've had RISP in 5 of the 6 innings, 4 of those times with less than 2 outs and we've scored 1 run and that was because of a passed ball and error. Baseball is a cruel sport sometimes
  12. .771 OPS with RISP, .776 with bases empty, but yes, recently I get the same impression. You'll never guess who leads the league in OPS with RISP. I meant tonight but thanks for the reality check
  13. My guess is a) with Jake on deck they'll just walk him and b) joe doesn't want to use him and lose his potential defense later on
  14. Eh. A lefty vs Miggy is probably just as bad as a tired Syndergaard. Now if Joe PH Javy here...
  15. This team completely goes to horsefeathers when a runner gets into scoring position
