And this is exactly why you shouldn't be handing out extensions to coaches like him when he still has 3 years left on his current deal. I stopped watching. Nats lose and Cubs clinch HFA through the NL Playoffs before any other team clinches a playoff spot (Rangers are up 3-0 with a magic number of 1 so should clinch a spot in the next hour or so) The last magic number, which doesn't give us anything other than pride is clinching best record in baseball. I believe the magic number for that is 2. Edit: whoops it looks like the Rangers did clinch tonight before the Cubs my bad

OK it's the weekend now so I can't waste time at work making these posts so you get a horsefeathers post. Reyes has been really good but really wild so far in his career. Hammel has given us 3rd starter quality in the 5th starters spot. Neither will be playing in a couple of weeks. Go CUBS !!
