When did he have that little power surge? I think the very end of August. I feel like he fell immediately into a slump after that surge. Not sure if it's related at all

Looks like the Cubs are going with the drive up the pitch count strategy

Everytime I see Fox talk about kershaws NLDS I see them show 3 dodger wins, 19k etc etc but they don't mention that his ERA was over 5

It's not luck. Conservative coach conservative game plan chooses the conservative QB. supposed to bring discipline to the team but it repeatedly shoots itself in the foot with penalties at the worst times. Fox would be ok for a team with a lot of veteran talent but not this team

Takes a pretty special team to lose a game they led by 13 points entering the 4th and by 9 points with 8 mins left

This is exactly why Jay>Hoyer. Hoyer can lead them down the field but only generates 16 points, misses a lot of passes in the 2nd half, and then doesn't have the arm to make plays on 3rd and 4th and long with the game on the line

Yesss please finish like 3-13 and fire fox and draft a QB. Last years team was mildly enjoyable so I had a hard time wanting them to lose. This years team is deplorable so I have no such reservations

I know playoff Kershaw is overstated but I just feel better about facing him right now Starts with more than 2 ER: Regular season: 2 in 21 starts Playoffs: 2 in 2 starts Starts with less than 7 IP: Regular season: 5 in 21 starts (3 of them were first 3 starts after injury when he was on aggressive pitch count) Playoffs: 2 in 2 starts. I know it's SSS and a few others reasons but I can't help but feeling that way
