Yeah your arm better be dang near torn out of your body for you to not be available for freaking game 7 of the WS. It's not that he won't be available, but would he be effective? He hasn't done it all year, do we have no idea. Jon Lester hasn't pitched out of the pen all year but we are all fine with it. Pitching in back to back games isn't exactly something only certain pitchers can do. Even if fatigue is an issue there should be enough adrenaline pumping to alieviate most of that.

Honestly time through the order is more important to Joe at this point than pitch count. Once he hits the 3rd time around the order, his leash will immediately get much shorter
