  1. Man this team has mostly kept our hitters in check all series. They must be surprisingly good at pitching. oh wait
  2. 2-5 on Wednesdays, 1-6 on Sundays, 22-7 all other days of the week
  3. I swear every year we have a disproportionate number of home games in Dec/Jan. This year it's 3 out of the last 4. Nothing like Soldier Field in the winter. Edit: I guess last year we only had 2 of the last 5 in December/Jan but 2023 3 of our 8 home games were at the end of the season and in 2022, 4 of our 9 home games were in the last 5 weeks. Edit Edit: I wonder if it's because of the Fire. They do have 1-2 games a year moved to Bridgeview because of the Bears, but their season goes until late October and not including any playoffs if they ever actually made it, but they're a Chicago team so they don't.
  4. I was literally sitting with 15 in laws all screaming "WHO DEY" in my face every time the Bengals scored. I don't mind going to a game and my team losing but I think they scored on every first half possession and at no point was there anything to be happy about as a Bears fan attending the game.
  5. Hmm...Bears in Cincinnati on my birthday and I can get Bengals tickets from my in laws pretty easily. Then again, the last time I went to a Bears game in Cincinnati the Bears lost 45-10 and Cedric Benson ran for 768 yards.
  6. I also saw Week 10 vs NY Giants per a Giants beat guy
  7. I will not be watching Countdown and seeing a replay of the Hail Mary 400 times.
  8. Believe it or not, the Bears first home primetime game that isn't Thursday Night Football since December 2021, also against the Vikings. In fact this will be the 3rd straight home non-TNF primetime game against Minnesota. Last against everyone else was 2019 against the Chiefs.
  9. I'm so happy for Javy and hope he keeps it up. Wondering if the hip issue he got surgery on was really what was causing his poor performance the last couple years. Or at least how much that played into it.
  10. He also had a pretty big hit in the 9th against the Giants to score a run and put the tying run on 3rd with 1 out. In a game the Cubs lost by 9 runs.
  11. I was wrong about the 2 outs thing but you can’t advance on a drop 3rd strike with a runner on 1st already
  12. Dropped 3rd strike rule doesn’t apply with a runner on first
  13. I know PCA has had a great game but damn striking out on a pitch that hits you
  14. Actually one week in Dublin, one week in London. And valid points.
  15. If I’m reading is right, the Vikings will only have 7 true road games this year while the rest of the North will have 9. That seems like a big advantage for them, especially with the Bears road schedule being harder than I can ever remember seeing
  16. This is a record amount of time for the Cubs to put someone on IL. I figured they’d play a man down at least another 2-3 days before making a move. I guess Ballestarous forced the issue. Hes not on the 40 right? Wonder what move they will make
  17. Nebraska/Iowa used to be the only game on tv until Iowa decided to not run an offense for several years
  18. I was just about to write a post ripping on Seiya for taking a 2-1 pitch over the middle of the plate with a runner on 3rd and 2 outs but then he decided to homer
  19. Can’t keep King Tuck down for long, especially when he has the Dodgers ready to offer him $1b if he plays well the rest of this year.
