    I still would have gone phantom IL stint if possible. He was pretty reliable in 2023 and 2024. But whatever. Jed subscribes to the “relievers are disposable so let’s sign a bunch of them and see which ones turn out to be decent” philosophy

    This is seriously so much fun. We have the most exciting player in baseball on the Cubs and while Javy was freaking awesome, PCA’s ceiling is a good deal higher than Javy at his best

    We have a baseball god on the team .289 with a .913 OPS, 14 HR, 45 RBI, best defensive CF in baseball and best base runner

    Well that was fortunate. No more damage, and Boyd only got to 34 pitches meaning if he can get it together he can still give 5 innings. 3 runs sucks but not impossible to overcome

    I know it was 2 outs but that was an awful send. I actually turned my head away from my phone once I saw how hard it was hit assuming it was 1st and 3rd with 2 outs. Hopefully the extra inch that would have made Busch's double a HR won't matter...

    Right, it would have been silly to give him a rehab stint. But at the same time it's not terribly surprising that he looks a bit off. He'll be fine and soon.
