    Cubs now lead the all time regular season series and have retained the Crosstown Cup for another season. Though I can’t remember seeing the players celebrating with the Cup in a couple of years

    I generally hate the bunt and I know the pitcher just walked the first 2 hitters but I’m surprised Brujan wasn’t bunting there. didn’t matter since the pitcher balked and Brujan grounded out so same result but yeah

    Just kidding I forgot Turner got 2 PA in that game, so he was a 3B (he walked in his other PA) Outside of that performance the other Cubs 3B and 0-24 with 2 walks during that stretch

    Unless I missed something during my quick look through box scores, a Cubs third baseman has not gotten a hit since 5/6 against San Francisco, 10 games ago* *Technically Turner was considered 3B when he hit his walk off against the Marlins but was essentially a PH spot

    I believe that brings the Cubs record in the regular season Cubs/White Sox series to 73-74. A sweep puts us ahead after quite a bit of time under .500
