Lol. That's very similar where I live in Indiana. South Newton Rebels is about 10 miles away and they would have Confederate flags during games. At least I know they did when I was in high school ('00-'03). This was their logo until about ~5 years ago when someone complained about it... New logo Did Jeff Sessions approve of the new logo on behalf of the South?

My High School used to have this guy as its mascot: His name was, appropriately/inappropriately "Eaglebeak." They managed to change the mascot to an actual eagle in the 80s, but that was after they ditched a Tazmanian Devil because they almost got sued by Warner Brothers. The Alumni association still shows up at athletic events to sell merchandise of the old mascot. They smirk the whole time.

Yeah, me too. I finally got around to watching "I Am Chris Farley" last weekend and it really made me appreciate again how big of an impact he had in a short amount of time. There will never be another actor quite like him, and for that matter, where is the next generation of young comedy actors? It could just be that I'm just no longer in the target demographic and don't "get" today's comedy, but what happened to the comedy genre? There are only a handful of comedies I can think of over the past decade that were even worth watching. But I am clearly way off topic... I'm very confused by this post. Are you talking about movies or TV shows? Either way, there's been tons of great comedies from both. And what does Farley have to do with either? The guy was hilarious, but TV-wise he was only on SNL, and movie-wise he starred in Tommy Boy and then a bunch of crap. I mean, unless there's more Black Sheep fans than I would have thought existed.... Maybe some people think he pulls Billy Madison together?

I just now realized that there is a Tseng Sung in the minors, but this is not the Tseng that is in the Cubs org (even though I am well aware that he made appearances for the Cubs last season). I feel shame.

A big reason I think its Jake was that I seem to remember him giving some kind of quote earlier in the off season specifically about "his numbers" over the past three years. I think its his mantra. -
