  1. I'll admit I'm colored by watching mostly only Packer-Bear games. I wasn't even aware the Bears had a young, shut down corner had I not been in this thread. Still, the heartening recent results have mostly occurred while beating up on garbage teams, no? It's hard to evaluate talent when the coaching is so clearly horrific.
  2. Not that anyone really cares, but I'll give my Fields take. I think he's basically a less-decisive Michael Vick, and if he had a creative and smart coaching apparatus around him that was invested in his success, he'd have much better results. He's shown steady improvement over his career, but it doesn't look like he's going to be a top 5 QB, and it's hard to win super bowls without one of those. I think it's a really tough call on if the Bears should stick with him (at a price much cheaper than he deserves) or gamble on a QB in the draft. But the coaches should have been gone yesterday. I think I'd lean gambling, simply because the roster, as it stands, isn't close to winning it all in the near future.
  3. In the name of harmony, I'm game. I don't relish Bear fan tears, though. That would just be cruelty, at this point. Packer fans, as a rule, are insufferable, and apart from a lot of painful playoff losses, have been insanely spoiled. I'm only here because this is one of the few places I can expect mostly reasonable takes on the game and I'm addicted to this mad house, in general. The Packers will probably lose next round, and badly, but being the youngest team to make the playoffs ever has me pretty hyped about the future. Still stunned that the offense appears to be legit.
  4. It's easy for me to root for Love right now, but it's sad knowing that he's fated to become a Proud Boy and play for the Jets in 20 years.
  5. The line has a real problem with stunts and vague assignments. I don't think the Bears tried that even once that I noticed.
  6. It depends on which repetitive, troll-statement they are addressing.
  7. Yeah, that was the least Love was pressured this year, that I can remember. The O line has been much better in the second half, but it still isn't good. In addition, the was the most effective the running game was since the first month of the season.
  8. Does a murderer murder if they aren't of sound mind while they do it?
  9. When I addressed your comments earlier, I was only addressing what you said. None of it was grounded in reality. You're just trolling, even if you aren't conscious of it.
  10. It should have been a penalty. His hit Fields with his ribs in his pads. It wasn't a cheap shot.
  11. Well, this has happened this year, and he has not gotten those calls either.
  12. Should have been a penalty.
  13. It's true they don't have any names, but the Packer offense has been better in the second half than it had ever been in Rodgers' last season. Reed is amazing. It's been the defence that's been so so to atrocious.
  14. I thought it was enough. Ball never hit the ground, and he kept it at the same spot on his body before he touched oob. Obviously super close tho.
  15. First glance I didn't see it definitively hit the ground.
  16. Wow. If Love really did audible to a WR screen and then almost ad libbed to a first down when the WRs ghosted him...that's classy.
  17. ...you know I'm a Packer fan, right?
  18. Yeah, I've seen some of this bit here and there, but horsefeathers wow.
  19. Good lord. The play calling being horrible is literally the only thing you've said that's close to sane thus far.
  20. I think slightly above average is what he is. When he misses passes, it's ALWAYS an over throw. It's really weird. He's not the hardest thrower in the NFL, but he's not lacking arm strength. I never imagined he'd have these kinds of stats on this team.
  21. Imagine being a Packer fan!
  22. If I had a nickel for every time a dude imagined what my dick looked like, I wouldn't have to chase deposit bonuses.
  23. The quality of play on both sides was...not high.
