  1. Yeah, great arguments made there. Other teams have been doing a lot of BS to the Cubs (like hitting our star players in the head with pitches and screaming after bases empty strike outs) and I've had enough of it! Can't root for the Cubs anymore.

  3. I just hope they don't have to amputate the catcher's foot. He really took that full force...surprised Rizzo didn't draw at least a yellow card for that!
  4. At the start of the season there were two position players I wanted to get hurt to give the rest of the roster a chance to shine. I was only half correct.
  5. Bang up job thus far. literally
  6. Three kids ain’t the issue. It’s three moms that is unfortunate. But who am I to judge. Maybe he can be a great dad to each.. Bang up job thus far.
  7. I bought a Schwarber shersy abouta week before he blew his knee into a thousand pieces. The amount that I have worn that shirt has not really depended on his status with the Cubs over that time. If we shipped him to Cleveland for Salazar or whomever, I'd still be wearing it because I like the guy, and also because I'm cheap and it says "Cubs" on it. I mean, if I had a Chuck McElroy Cubs jersey I'd wear that and imagine myself to be kinda cool, in a hipster doofus kind of way. That said, Baker is really pushing it.
  8. Also, Rizzo is such a badass. That was almost as cool at that time he challenged the entire Reds dugout forever ago.
  9. That was really weird of Garrett. Does he have a history with Baez or something?
  10. Haha! Man, JD is just the best! He's almost as good as Kenny Blankenship on MXC.
  11. Cole is well past his prime at this point. I prefer all of our current SP to him, even the broken versions of Yu and Q. Hard pass.
  12. Despite playing 18 of their games in Coors, they're 13th in the League in runs per game. That's raw, without taking park factors into account at all. Their team OPS+ is 80. Yeah they suck. Their position players had a historically low wRC+ going in to the series in Wrigley a week or whatever ago. I don’t think much has changed since. It is surprising that they are that bad at hitting, and doubly so that they have managed a winning record while doing so.
  13. That is stunning as it pertains to the Rockies.
