  1. umm...you know he wasn't actually trying to make a legitimate argument and was mocking you right? Yes then I took the chance to point out his hero KB has the same amount of hits as JL in St Louis this year which I know he didn't like.
  2. OPS better than KB's .621 in St Louis, and at least JL gets on base there hitting .295 with a .337 OBP for that OPS. They both have the same amount of hits in St Louis this year, but KB has 17 more AB
  3. i bet it will. he'll be like "i'm gonna hit like i did the last time i was in the NL central." We'll need a large sample of like 10 PA's before we'll be able to ascertain that though. Well, his .689 OPS at Busch bodes almost as poorly as his .627 OPS at Wrigley.
  4. I know his pitch framing used to be considered elite. Is that still the case?

  6. I think I liked Holland's the best.

  8. Debated about using this in the movie thread, and I get to use it here!
  9. I have to assume it was because Addi went 0-3 with 2 bats flung into the crowd (one hitting a woman) in AAA or some such non sense.
  10. Plus side: Cubs beat the Brewers Down side: Bryant's OPS in St. Louis remains abysmal.
  11. Who is Trump a fan of? Yankees or Mets? Cardinals and Packers. Doubtful https://theundefeated.com/features/aaron-rodgers-takes-a-sledgehammer-to-kaepernick-myth/

  13. Yeah, just to drive home your point, here is the start of the wiki article on social justice warriors: It's bound to get Trump elected again...somehow.
  14. What point is that? That' you'll excuse the most deplorable behavior for winning a game? Glad I made it. Nope just the Non SJW = automatic MAGA label you guys always jump to. Always worried about everyone's behavior, but never your own. MLB, the Cubs and his wife are fine with him playing so he should be playing and staring for Javy in today's game. But, hey screw the victims wishes right? Even IF he hadn't abused his wife, the guy isn't especially great at baseball, Reno ABs aside. Now that Javy is at SS, Addi's glove doesn't play up as well to make up for his subpar bat, crappy baserunning, and general cluelessness. I'd rather have Zobrist and maybe even Happ at 2B going forward. If Javy gets hurt, then the irredeemable turd can come back to the majors, assuming he can find the time to learn the signs. Also, pretty funny that you are simulaniously claiming that baseball decisions are separate from off-field issues, but also offer up that his ex doesn't think he should be banned from baseball as evidence he should be playing. Btw, no one here thinks he should be banned from baseball. We just think he's a douche that isn't especially good at baseball and don't want to watch him play for the Cubs. If that's triggered, price up my acocado toast and call me libtard. Don't care.
  15. Wait wait wait. Addi wears PURPLE now?! I take it all back. He is now, officially, a productive member of society!!! Unreal.
  16. Ok, let's set aside that in the same sentence where you allow me to not cheer for Russell, that you imply it's unamerican to not root for him...ok, I'm over it. After his suspension and return to the team, did you see any remorse? Any attempt to make things right? An increased focus on his game? No, I saw him give an interview where he dismissed his "haters" as something to be ignored, and he couldn't be bothered to learn the signs. Normally for a redemption story to work, there needs to be something redeemable about the guy. Not just a .796 OPS over a month's worth of games. Tell me, what is there to cheer for? Simply that he might refrain from abusing women in the future?
  17. If baseball is so important to you that you get triggered because you can't cheer for your favorite spousal abuser, you have some serious problems in your life. We're all passionate about the Cubs, but baseball is a game that doesn't actually matter. It's not supposed to be the number one priority in your life. It's not supposed to take precedence over you being a decent human being. Yes, the real problem is those politically correct SJW libtards who are way too far to the left on the issue of... being against domestic violence. Nobody is supporting DV that's another one of your SJW faults where you guys think everyone who has a different view than you is on some monster with extreme views. That crazy point of view is part of why the damn guy got elected and will likley get a second term, normal people are put off by it. His own ex-wife says he should be allowed to play baseball again, MLB let him play, and the Cubs signed him. So at what point can we move on a let it be about baseball? You don't have to cheer him, but its just silly to not want the best 25 on the roster and the best 9 field when they are already paying him. If you want him off the Cubs being in Chicago to either fail and get cut or succeed and get traded is the best move for your agenda. Lol. Aren't you the guy who was obsessively cheering about Robel's slump and touting Bryant as a choker because of bad @Stl splits? Who is being silly and not wanting the Cubs to do well because of political reasons here? Is it the entire board? Or the guy with Russel stats on 7 at bats in Reno or 20 ABs against Wainwright when no one else cares, or should care, at all?
