    No, I noticed. I didn't compare the two that way because that's dumb, as previously stated.

    Imagine knowing rate stats exist. Just imagine. Like, just to point out how cherry-picked stupid insane this is, in his first two starts for the 2023 season, Kenny Pickett had 76 (!!! For the STEELERS!!!) passing attempts. Fields has had 43. Arthur Smith is now the OC, and game script matters. Apart from the two games Pickett was not able to complete in 2023, Pickett never had less passing attempts than Field's maximum thus far, which is 23. Not once in those 12 entire games. To pile on, Pickett had a better QB rating that Fields' worst this far, 91.9, only three times in those 12 games. And his max rushing output in any game was 17 yards. So yeah, Fields probably isn't going to be as efficient in games where he's losing than when he's winning, especially on a team like this, but that applies to every QB in the league. Citing bulk stats is just moronic, and I don't think you're a moron. You're just cartoonishly married to your priors. Stop it. You saw that same play I did that got called back for holding. Imagine if Love dropped a bomb like that moving horizontal as he threw. "He's worth every penny!" He has played well, and better than even the rate stats are showing. The starting job is now clearly Fields' regardless of Wilson's calf status.

    Fields looking like an All-star against the Broncos...but the right tackle getting dinged for holding has brought back a lot of deep completions on bonkers highlight throws.

    I missed this. What was it? Also, watching Hans lose to Naka was even more satisfying than watching him lose to Carlsen. He's just so perfectly unlikable. Better than an action movie villain.

    Sure, it's hard to be the best QB when there are 31 others you have to top. But I think Love 2024 will be better than Love 2023, and the Packers doubly so. The Bears will probably be better, but how is the division significantly improved? Did a team get added that I didn't notice?

    ...extremely? Why? The Packers in the second half of the season last year were one of the better teams in football. They were the youngest team in the NFL by a metric shitton, and still are the youngest team in the NFL. There's reason to believe it wasn't just a fluke, and that improvement is much more likely than regression. They addressed the biggest weakness of the team (safety play) and return practically the entire offense (apart from an arguable upgrade at RB). But the thing I'm most excited about is the new defensive scheme. I don't especially care about 3-4 versus 4-3, but the Packers were playing a type of glorified prevent defense at all times last season. It was gross. Most anything would be a improvement. New, young coordinator is saying all the right things. We'll see how the scheme actually shakes out. Now when it comes to Love, I think Love is definitely going to be an above average QB (which might be enough to win the division on it's own), and possibly an MVP candidate, Based of off last year, I think it's weird to claim it would be a surprise to see the Packers win the division. The Lions should be and are favored...but I think it's closer to a coinflip between the two, with the Bears being a 1-in-5 darkhorse.

    I've mentioned bestball contests here on other threads, but thought I'd give the team a heads up for a site/contest that's offering some pretty good deals. Drafters.com is running a 500k to first guaranteed contest (15 dollar entry) that almost certainly won't fill, and should have a lot of overlay. They also have some decent deposit bonuses. I put 100 bucks on there, they matched my 100 (with a promo code), and then with other offers (draft 6 teams, get one free etc) I've got 225 bucks worth of entries out of my 100, and that's not considering the probable overlay.
