  1. The US men’s basketball team sucks balls They should consider using NBA players like they did in the 90s. Waiting for the punchline.
  2. Well you can't have it both ways. If he's not really a top 3 pitcher, which, fine, that means his numbers aren't really dropping off, right? He's just settling back to what you thought he was/is, which is still valuable? Maybe we don't get a Preciado, but maybe a Darvish in the rotation means less time the offense spends watching some garbage pitcher get knocked around and then have to chase leads, or a bullpen that isn't exhausted by July. But, whatever, all in the past at this point. Can you guys please stop responding to this guy so I don't have to see the non-sense he's posting?
  3. Man, Japan rocks.
  4. Is there any semi-realistic low-price/short-duration extension for Rizzo that wouldn't make you (and I) blanch? What are the numbers?
  5. I don't know if there has ever been a fight in UFC history (apart from maybe Usman-Covington) where I've wanted the heel to lose more than Poirier-MacGregor. And then THAT happens, and then the post-fight interviews happen. I can't imagine anything better than that. The UFC script-writing crew needs a promotion. The a$$hole line was fun, but then he gets all Shakespearian and I all but lost my horsefeathers.
  6. Can't wait to trade Kimbrel for two 17 year olds (one of which is named Brett Bretterson) and I'm told it's good or whatever.
  7. I remember thinking that team was way cool and amazing, and then I see Howry and Fontenot and Pie in the scrum, and I wonder if I was just wrong.
  8. I got FOUR pars the last time I played 18. FOUR! (I also hit a drive 370 yards, but that's because it was WAY downhill at 10,000 ft elevation) to be fair, you have to get it in the air for the elevation to help so you did that! I once hit a drive like that at that course near the AFA. Was it Eisenhower? I prob know the hole you're talking about.
  9. Figured I would give an update on this since it's been 5 months. I passed my written test 2 months ago and then my playing qualifying test 3 weeks ago. The target score that I had to beat that day was 159 (36 holes) on a course I've never played on (The Player's Club at Wooland Trails- which is where Ball State plays at). Ended up shooting 150 (77-73). Now all I have to do is start looking for jobs, apply, etc. Haven't decided where I want to move to yet. How is everyone's game coming along? I got FOUR pars the last time I played 18. FOUR! (I also hit a drive 370 yards, but that's because it was WAY downhill at 10,000 ft elevation)

  11. Spaeder is a horsefeathering clown. Yeah most of these seem pretty flimsy. Single season home and away splits? Like come on. From a lot of reporting from a lot of legit people it seems very likely the Yankees did something real bad in 2017, but the rest of these.... Yeah, apart from stuff like not having to travel and the crowd being on your side (which is an advantage in other sports), batting last is a pretty significant strategic advantage. Home teams winning in baseball is a significant thing.
  12. What they left out of that article was that Rahm was informed that one of his close contacts tested positive and THEN got vaccinated. It wasn't until he realized that he could actually miss tournaments (or get tested a lot) because he wasn't vaccinated that he got around to it. He does say that he "honestly wasn't thinking about it" which was clearly true. Whatever, his punishment more than fit the crime, I suppose.
  13. Your logic doesn't add up. Heyward being cautious about not getting it and refusing the vaccine are not related. Who is bashing anyone for getting the vaccine? His point is a strawman/whataboutism argument that is not legitimate unless he's going into the stands to sign autographs. Logic?! I can't even follow what the horsefeathers he's talking about. What is Heyward supposed to get credit for? Being old? I really have no clue what he's arguing.
  14. horsefeathers that. Hard pass.
  15. If Rizzo's doctors told him he can skip the vaccine, he needs better doctors.
  16. horsefeathers is going to be WILD around Mile High tonight. I'm honestly glad I'm not there.
  17. ...he got hit by a paper cup of diet pepsi
  18. Dang, the replay from behind the goal sure looks ...OH YEAH!
