    Damn, you took my guess. I'm going to go out on a limb and say one of the three will happen: He gets a walk on his final AB of the season (most likely of the three) He somehow winds up with negative two walks (second most likely to happen) Niefi gets no walks during the season, but in the playoffs his 2 out, bases loaded walk sends the Cubs to the world series (slightly less likely than the negative two walks)

    According to the Royals fans on their MLB board, Sweeney might be on the DL before Lee is off it: One of the Sweened trade to Cubs threads And I agree with Hairston at 2nd and TWalk at 1st. Wow. Prior and a prospect for Sweeney!? Pie and Cedeno?!? Jesus. More delusional than the Cubs.com posters in Royal land...and probably for good reason. One of the few teams close to as frustrating to watch as the Cubs. I'm still laughing about both of those trade ideas.

    This might have been mentioned before, but did anyone notice Furcal lightly colliding shins with Lee on a close play at first earlier in the series? Or was it someone else? Or am I making this up?

    That event really changed my life...for the worse. But it does make a REALLY good drunken story. I always work "refried bean consistency" into it. Vivid adjectives and details make the story. ...maybe I should have waited until I had 10,000 posts to mention this stuff.

    That's the point. Neifi is the worst player that has actually had enough at bats to qualify for this. Augie may be worse, but he is so bad that he isn't good enough to get the at bats. Oh...IS that the point? ...jesus...

    I'm watching the updates on Yahoo, and there are two pictures: one of Glendon and one of Lopez. Lopez is my lone fantasy player on the Reds team, and he is 0-3...while the rest of the team tees off. I swear, the crappy smile Glendon has on that picture is laughing at me.

    I traded Lieber, but it won't go into effect until Thursday...traded him in a package with V. Wells for Pierre and Borowski...really mad it didn't go into effect after a day.

    The whole team? And I didn't know Pavano's nickname was 8-ball. :-k Pavano must have taken the train to work. I wonder if this means the Yankees will be bringing up the rear. I wonder if Pavano was getting humped from behind...and that's what made his butt hurt...dang...I got nothing.

    Fuentes is CRAPPY. If I were to pick one closer that will flop this year, its him. Anyways, my team also needed speed and didn't need the SP, so I traded Wells and Lieber for Pierre and Borowski. I think it helped both teams.

    I only have one closer after my auto-draft in a 5x5 9 team yahoo draft. I have a lot of power hitting and some outfield depth (Sheffield, Berkman, Mags, Rowand) so I am looking to deal Vernon Wells for a closer. What kind of level closer would you expect to get from him? BJ Ryan? Turnbow? Wickman? As crappy as Fuentes?
