    Completely agreed. And I think he should be told that he is going to get the ball every 5th day. Give him some confidence. That way we can actually get a thorough evaluation of Hill in the big leagues.

    You can't be obnoxius. I know a girl who is a huge Cubs fan and she has lived in Cardinals territory her entire life and she no problems. She wears Cubs gear a lot, but they don't give her hell. Is she hot? I was going to say, all she has to be is a 5-6 on the 10 scale and nobody will give her any problems.

    Was at a dance recital until just now. Came home, drank about 3 beers, and started reading the thread. Finally came to the end, popped another one in celebration of the best game thread this year. Funniest thing I've read here in a long time. OleMiss showing up drunk only makes it better.

    While it's obvious that you're being sarcastic, there are some on this board who lack the ability to detect sarcasm. Initially, those people will respond harshly to your post. Then, embarassed that they didn't immediately recognize that you weren't serious, they will criticize you for not using a smiley to indicate your lack of sincerity. In coming days, you will be told that your "sarcasm act" is getting old. Eventually your loyalty to the Cubs will be questioned, probably by a poster who lacks grammatical skills and whose screenname is a combination of a rather generic word and a number. Finally, there will be a call for you to take an "absolute psychological test" to prove you can handle the pressures of posting despite your track record that shows you excel at such an activity. Be careful. I really needed that. Made me laugh early in the morning. Good job.

    Pierre is here to stay. So is Jones. It's better to start rooting for them to get on pace than to constantly hound them and make unsubstanciated claims on career minor leaguers abilities at the big league level. Am I missing something? Since when is Pie a career minor leaguer?
