I think so as well but, could that be another max FA? Wade and Bosh for example? Wade isn't going anywhere. Neither is LeBron. The Bulls best bet is Bosh and Joe Johnson, and that has a slim chance of happening. I doubt any team is getting two max contract players. The problem for the Bulls is that there are too many teams that can give max contracts and not enough great players. Joe Johnson does not have the skills to be a max contract player, but all you need to really be one is a team that is willing to offer him that. NY is going to offer him that after they fail to get LeBron.

i mean, i'd prefer they make the playoffs The year that the Bulls got Rose, they weren't going anywhere if they made the playoffs. I'm glad they missed the playoffs. Imagine where this franchise would be without him. But on the other hand, last year's series against the Celtics was unbelievably exciting.

I have not been following Castro's career, but I hear that he can hit for average, has some power, and has decent plate discipline. What about his speed and defense?

Oh he's turrible now. So why would they opt to re-sign him instead of going after the other FA's? For the same reason they signed a slightly above average Luol Deng to $70 million. I don't want them to get sign McGrady, but I wouldn't put it past the Bulls.

Those are good reasons. I am talking about the Bulls getting McGrady just because they think he is going to be with them long term as their power forward. As in a see how good he is this year and then sign him to a long-term deal.

This. Please just make Nate Robinson go away. The fact he now has won THREE different dunk contests just shows how much it is a joke. OMG HE IS SHORT AND HE CAN DUNK. And he always needs multiple tries to make his dunks, if could nail most of them on the first try I might cut him some slack. Granted most of these scrubs fail in that department too. At least Dwight Howard made the thing somewhat exciting again for a couple years. Now it is back to scrubs again. I actually thought Robinson had the best dunks of the night. The NBA just has to recruit better dunkers. Why won't the stars take part in it?
