  1. As long as he doesn't pull a Springsteen and thrust himself into my living room
  2. One more windmill and Townsend wins it for those who had the over
  3. Man The Who is terrible so far
  4. Wow Jay was in a commercial for the David Letterman show. Two commercials with fat people and no pants on is two too many.
  5. Yep. You can't do it all. The Colts had the worst rushing offense in the league, but they are finding plenty of room tonight. In 06, the Bears utilized the same strategy and the Colts ran all over them.
  6. The CBS announcers said that Freeny looks good in pregame warmups. Of course that is just pregame, but it is a better sign than nothing.
  7. There will be more than one.
  8. Saints 31, Colts 28
  9. I heard they aren't getting paid to actually perform, but the NFL is paying for their expenses during the week.
  10. The Tebow ad was nothing to get worked up about. Pretty harmless.
  11. I want Hester to return pretty much every punt and kickoff. At the very least, he gives the Bears good field position. But Devin, you were crying two years ago about wanting more money and you said you deserved it because you thought you could be a number one receiver. Well you aren't and won't ever be, but you got your money, and now you want to go back to the old days. Angelo should never have capitulated with Hester or Urlacher. Should the Bears trade for Osi Umenyora if he becomes available?
  12. I think he was on roids. He might be one of those borderline HOF players that won't get in because he was on roids.
  13. This is where not having a legitimate low-post threat comes into play. For this team, there are no easy baskets apart from Rose just shredding the defense. When you have to fight for every shot, it wears you down and you go through 6-10 minute stretches where you rest.
  14. Because he's an idiot. Rose didn't get the ball enough in the 4th, and sure enough we struggle to put the ball in the basket. Nothing like a 16 point differential in the final quarter to finish it off. Derrick just doesn't realize that he can and must begin to take over games, especially when they are close. If I had his talent, I would be demanding the ball. I would bring the ball up the court and never freaking pass it. Derrick you don't have to be nice. I remember the famous line by Jordan after he scored 15 in a row to end the game and Tex Winter came up to him and said "Mike, there is to I in TEAM." Jordan said, "But there is in WIN."
  15. Blew this game. Josh Smith is a force on the glass.
  16. Hinrich face away over Horford with plenty of time left. Why?
  17. He blows past everyone and is good at getting out of the way of a foul.
  18. Unbelievable. The Bulls play to their competition. No one can take Rose one on one.
  19. Yep. But Rose is the only guy who can do that in a half-court set. With Noah out, Miller is lagging behind in the fast break and the team suffered. The Bulls kept it close even though Atlanta has a ton more talent. It took the Bulls 11 years to get an all-star. How long before they get a legitimate low post scorer? Curry was really the last one. Man that dunk by Rose was just unbelievable.
  20. I saw that play materializing and was like "is he really going to do it?" And he did. Rose is a player. This team has talent, but they have terrible coaching. They are playing one-on-one basketball tonight. One guy dribbles, the rest watch. This is high school crap. Deng is the worst $70 million player I have ever seen. He is so limited. Give the ball to Rose and get out of the way. He doesn't need a stupid pick. Thomas never saw a shot he didn't like. He tried to copy Josh Smith's left handed hook shot which clanged off the backboard.
  21. Looks like the Devils just got him. Great move for them. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=4888109&campaign=rss&source=NHLHeadlines I'm living in Atlanta right now and the fan base is livid. The Thrashers are only one point out of the playoffs, yet they are losing the fanchise's best player after offering him a contract very near the max. For a team that doesn't draw well, they offered him a good deal. I don't know if Atlanta is going to be able to support a team now. You can't lose Heatley, Kovi, and Hossa and only make the playoffs once in 10 years and expect to really support a team.
  22. Deng said they the Bulls need to get their swagger back. OK. But the problem is that when you are a .500 team, you don't know how to use your swagger. You think bad teams will lay down for you, but they aren't going to.
  23. They will be lucky to ever score a goal again. All the players should go home and never return during the olympic break. Every team hits a bad stretch. The Hawks will be fine. They are too talented to keep this up.
  24. Turner>Martz considering what types of players the Bears have. I wish they would have kept him now.
  25. Bosh was the only one I really have heard about. Maybe Wade, but I think he is staying in Miami. The Bulls really need a good frontline player. I've heard through various reporters that it's believed Wade is their #1 target then Bosh. I think Wade is a better player and would have a bigger impact, but Bosh sure seems like the better fit. I doubt we get either but imagine the marketing possibilities of having 2 superstars on your team both from Chicago. Taj Gibson and Noah's development might play a factor too. The better they get, the more comfortable Forman might be in going after Wade.
