  1. Bosh was the only one I really have heard about. Maybe Wade, but I think he is staying in Miami. The Bulls really need a good frontline player.
  2. When Nadal beat Federer at Wimbledon a few years ago, a lot of people thought that a changing of the guard had occurred. I had a feeling Federer was not going to slip into the background so quickly. Now two more for Federer to tie Navratilova's record.
  3. When was the last time the Bulls won five in a row on the road?
  4. And now he's woken up. He must have money on himself winning the fourth and the match going five sets. so is it generally assumed that he was throwing that match and they just couldn't find any proof of it? That's what I've always thought. He pulled out of a match against some scrub and there were millions of dollars wagered on him losing - way more than what's normal for total bets on a tennis match and I think it came after he won a set or was up in the match, though I might be wrong on that. I think you are right, but what company lets people bet after the match has already started?
  5. Is this the first Chicago Bulls All-Star since 1998?
  6. Just a week ago, they lost to the Clippers and Warruirs, so no. This is a playoff team. The problem is that they play to their competition when the competition is bad. Plus they are healthy now. They have beaten a bunch of very good teams (Cleveland, Spurs, Orlando) but lost to teams they shouldn't. No matter who the coach, this team doesn't heat up until the second half. No they just need to trade for Amare.
  7. Doesn't he have another year on his contract with Minnesota? Yep, for $13 million. I don't think any is guaranteed. Brett had a two-year deal with the Jets too. In many ways his season was nothing short of miraculus, even should he return, I don't think it's a given he'll have another such season. I think he could have about as good of a year. Favre has been very good the last three years. This year might have been the best out of the last three. Now that Rice has turned into a very good receiver and Harvin has a year under his belt, I could see Brett playing at a Pro Bowl level in 2010.

  9. Well now all 11 Vikings can play in the Pro Bowl. A bunch of subs were going to have to play if Minnesota won.
  10. Cardinals. Warner retires and Favre goes there.
  11. This one comes down to Brett trying to do too much.
  12. Bad spot. This isn't a goal line play where you have to break the plane.
  13. Run when you think the defense thinks you will pass and pass when they think you will run.
  14. 2009 Favre throws a bad INT and the Vikings miss the Superbowl. 2008 Favre audibles and throws a bad INT with Thomas Jones running all over the place and the Jets miss the playoffs. 2007 Favre throws a bad INT and the Packers lose to the Giants who go on to the Super Bowl. Not so good in crunch time.
  15. OK that was stupid. That was the old Brett.
  16. yeah, that 80.8 passer rating is insane True, but that throw to Rice was great. You couldn't place it any better.
  17. Do you think it is a foregone conclusion that LeBron is going to take a max contract instead of just getting a really big one and going to a place where he can win (Miami?)?
  18. I think I'm 2-6 too, but I like your picks and I also like your score predictions.
  19. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/chi-17-cubs-brite-chicago-jan17,0,1790453.story The project will be called "Wrigley 20-14" and include construction projects during the season so the Cubs can use it "for another 100 years," according to President Crane Kenney. The focal point of the massive restructuring will be the long-talked-about "triangle building" to the west, a project that will include knocking down the outer wall on the third-base side to form a large open-air courtyard that would include concession areas and shops. In the end, all of the concourse will be widened and include expanded restrooms, some of which will be completed for this season. It also means construction will be ongoing during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. This was talked about before, but now it looks to be very close to becoming a reality.
  20. Soto looks great after the eyebrow waxing.
  21. I want him to be completely honest. He obviously isn't. You want to just forgive the guy and put the whole mess behind you, but then he tries to make excuses for himself.
  22. Kiffin can recruit though. He was building a program in TN before this all went down.
  23. Living in Atlanta and hearing about Paul Johnson this year, he really seems to be different. I don't think he wants to go anywhere and I actually believe him. But money talks. Yeah, he'd be a longshot, but I really think highly of Johnson's ability to coach. Totally agree. Fabulous coach who tells it like it is, but doesn't seem to alienate anyone in the process.

  25. What are Bird rights?
