From what I have heard, all of it. This was probably a move to keep Huet quiet and to free up some space for a young guy to get some time in the minors. -
Tiger and Elin officially divorced. No word on how much money she received. Watch Tiger start really playing well now.

Al Michaels is interviewing Favre right now. Brett says what he misses most every offseason is the camaraderie with the other players. He loves the locker room stuff. He loves it so much that he has his own personal locker room apart from the other guys. He loves the camaraderie so much he misses out on the first three weeks of training camp when they get to spend the most amount of time together.

Yep. He probably has the best straight-line speed on the team, but he doesn't have a football brain. Lovie wanted him because of his athletic ability, but he just can't produce. After he gave up the TD in the Super Bowl, he finally admitted that he decided to ad lib and throw the defense that was called out the window because he thought he knew better. He didn't and he still doesn't.

I guess he is a possibility, but he doesn't jump out from the other contenders.

Josh Hamilton has the AL race all but locked up. Who is the National League's MVP? I just can't seem to think of anyone who jumps out. Pujols is having an off year by his standards. The Padres and Braves don't seem to have a guy who jumps out. So does it come down to Votto or Pujols?

They might have no remorse now, but when they are both in jail or put under probation and never get into the HOF they will feel differently. Baseball is not just about records and money. People who don't have any money like you and I are the only ones who say that.

My point is exactly the point and you know it. If you didn't think it was the point you would have said, "Well everyone takes roids so what's the difference." Clemens was done until he took roids. Bonds broke records that no one could have broken by taking the most powerful stuff GNC makes. What Clemens and Bonds took obviously is unbelievably powerful and they new it which is why they took it. Clemens and Bonds had plenty of money before they decided to juice. I guarantee they would give all the extra money they made back if they could trade that for getting inducted into the HOF. Bonds and Clemens are idiotic precisely because what they did is going to keep them out of the HOF. Being idiotic is taking something that you didn't need that will result in losing baseball immortality and honor.

I think that this is Lovie's response to the administration's demand that they make the playoffs this year or he is gone. The pressure is ratcheting up, and Lovie's response is to try to remind everyone that he is in control. Or so he thinks. I put very little stock into preseason games apart from #3. In part I understand where Lovie is coming from because the Chicago media dissects every little play in the preseason. Lovie thinks his team has improved, and we will find that out for sure starting with game one in Detroit.

The difference is that when a player takes the kind of supplements that Bonds and so many others took, the results it brings far exceed anything that you can get at GNC. Every baseball player takes supplements, not everyone takes horse steroids or HGH. Stop making excuses for their idiotic and illegal behavior.

If you put them in and there was proof they juiced, it should be mentioned on their HOF plaque. I bet the juicers would not let themselves be put in the HOF if anything related to their steroid activity was mentioned on their plaque or during the ceremony.

We will never know what kind of career Bonds, Clemens, Sosa, and Arod would have had. Putting the HOF voters in the position of trying to determine what they could have done is the punishment for the crime. They will never get it.

I don't know how I can distaste a guy more from one day to the next, but Favre manages to do that to me. Favre wanted to rejoin the Vikings before July 19, are you kidding me?
