  1. I think I confused that with teams cutting players and not having to pay them.
  2. Yeah that 107.2 QB rating last year was so crappy. I meant the whole Brett Favre-retiring-not-retiring-drama. His QB rating the last four years is 88.
  3. what? Ed Werder was saying something about him not getting paid. I guess only if they put him on the injured list for the season. He wouldn't get paid if he just quit/retired But if he goes on the injured list for the rest of the season he doesn't get paid either right?
  4. If he never plays another NFL snap, then his final pass attempts in Green Bay, New York, and Minnesota were all interceptions. All INTs that essentially took his team out of contention for the playoffs or out of the playoffs themselves. Not that he didn't do way more than his fare share to get his team to that place, but still.
  5. what? Ed Werder was saying something about him not getting paid. I guess only if they put him on the injured list for the season.
  6. So he doesn't get paid for tonight either?
  7. And so it ends. Both Lou Gehrig and Brett Favre ended their consecutive games played streaks in Detroit. Interesting. What people forget is that Brett only has the consecutive games for a QB streak. Feagles has the streak for consecutive games started by any player.
  8. Looks like his career is over unless he gets healthy and Frazier gives him one more game as a going out game. Brett did have a great career, but he sure turned it to crap the last few years.
  9. Lovie gave what was called 'the best pre-game speech ever' on Saturday and talked about the most recent Medal of Honor winner and teamwork. Some of the players even cried. I guess it didn't work.
  10. Tom Brady throwing the ball all over the place was not a surprise to me. He did fine even though it was a blizzard. But the Bears were not able to exploit New England's sad defense. If Brady could throw in the snow, the Bears could have also.
  11. Hey where'd everyone go?
  12. I'm in Atlanta and the Bears game just got taken off for the Jets game. Oh well.
  13. This has now gone to fun bad. The advertisers in this game absolutely hate the Bears.
  14. 33 points was tied for the second most given up in a half in Bears history
  15. Man you sound like I do at times. Now I know how everyone else feels.
  16. As Cowher mentioned at halftime, you can't get a pass rush in this mess and Brady is unstoppable if he isn't touched. The Bear offense relies on precision and this isn't a day for precision football. In 2005 the Bears were playing great and went to Pittsburgh late in the season in the snow and got absolutely shellacked. I am not putting much stock in this game. With that said, I still think the Giants, Saints, and Falcons are slightly better than the Bears.
  17. No not really. Yes because giving up 5-8 yards consistently to good teams is a good idea. Cover 2 is reliance on luck when you cannot get a consistent pressure from your front four. Everyone knew coming into this game that Welker and Woodhead would be getting a ton of yards on the underneath crap. That terrible scheme has the Bears as a top-three defense in the NFL this year.
  18. Yeah get in a fight with the Pats when you are getting drilled. You look like idiots when you do that. This isn't hockey.
  19. Best 30 yard field goal I have ever seen
  20. 46-10 is my revised prediction.
  21. So much hype going into this game and it is over already. Stinks!
  22. Horrible call on Brandon.
