  1. This needs to be reposted.
  2. I don't know how many times we have to go over this, but the Bears beat the Packers when they were more healthy than they are now. The Chicago defense isn't as good, but their offense is certainly better. Anyone who thinks this is a slam dunk for the Pack is blind.
  3. Why? There are three teams tied and they all didn't play each other. Atlanta lost to Philly, Bears beat Philly. I know the three way tie screws it all up, but I just would hate to be behind a team that has the same record as you that you beat.
  4. Well then that's crap. If Philly and Chicago are tied at 12-4, I don't think Philly should get the #1 seed.
  5. If the Bears beat the Packers, isn't there no chance that Philly can be ahead of the Bears? No. They could be tied, but the Bears would win the tie-breaker because they beat Philadelphia head-to-head. Exactly. In that scenario, if the Bears win, they are the number one seed because they would have beaten Philly head to head. I think it's different if there's a 3-way tie between PHI, ATL, and CHI. OK. I am having trouble finding out how the three way ties work when the teams are not in the same division.

  8. That was the best quarter by a Bear QB I have ever seen. That's why the Bears traded for Cutler. Were any of the TDs against Revis?
  9. I have only seen parts of the game. Where has Peppers been?
  10. He is so used to throwing off his back foot he forgot how to throw normally when he has time.
  11. What happened in the Bears' scoring drive I missed it
  12. The linemen have to rush inside. It's too sloppy to run around the offensive line.
  13. So much for Sanchez's sore arm. He's thrown some rockets.
  14. Fantastic coverage on the receivers. The Bears haven't seen defensive backs like this in a long time.
  15. A few inches for the Pats game and nothing to a dusting in the Vikes game.
  16. Rose almost had his neck snapped by the padding in front of the goal.
  17. As usual, the suspensions will hurt the team and the university more than the individuals involved. It's Ohio State. What exactly are they going to do? I don't see them leveling out a USC-type penalty for these infractions. If Ohio State loses one of the 5 games (if they do it will be because Pryor is out), their national championship hopes are destroyed. Pryor will just go tot he NFL most likely. I really don't think there is going to be a lockout and I bet Pryor makes up his mind fairly early on that he is NFL eligible.
  18. Philly and the Giants have to win one and lose one for the Bears to win one and lose one to get the #2 seed.
  19. Yeah you are right. They hadn't won a playoff game before Favre since Culpepper in 2004. Either way, Jackson/Frerrote did not win three in a row as QB of the Vikings.
  20. What the [expletive] is that supposed to mean? He also conveniently ignores that Favre was one of the top 3 QB's in the league last year so that whole first part of his rant doesn't really fit. His obsession with Favre is bizarre. He will go anywhere to rant about him and the whole thing started because he thought he was a traitor for becoming a Viking after being a Packer. Tarkenton is wrong on numerous occasions in that article. The Vikings only won one playoff game in 2009, not three in a row with Jackson and Frerotte since that was their only playoff win under Childress. Frerotte did play some that season, but you really can't say that they won playoff games with him since he was sitting on the bench. The Packers and Jets did not give up on Favre since Favre retired on them. I have a feeling Favre would have still played the year after he gave up the INT to the Giants in the NFC Championship game with the Packers if he hadn't told them he was going to stay retired and Green Bay went out and drafted two QBs. Favre had a great year last year and I don't think McNabb would have been any more productive with this Vikings team than Favre was this year with Rice being out. McNabb is having the worst year or his career. I dislike Favre just as much as the next guy, but I really don't think there was a better QB than Favre available. Vick wasn't going anywhere.

  22. LUCKY TEAM! I hope the Bears get every single break they can. Who is their backup QB?
  23. Maybe after losing job after job after job has changed the man.
  24. Larry Brown fired by Jordan. Is there really a better coach out there than Brown for that job?
