  1. Outside of a nutjob like Kiffen no one is going to take this job until the lubrication dries from the ribbing the NCAA is going to give them. Pretty soon they will be praying for USC like penalties and not worse which they will get. She doesn't care about NCAA penalties - she wants him out of the house!
  2. How long before Urban Meyer's wife insists he takes the OSU job so she can get him out of the house?
  3. Come on now. I'm not trying to hate. He had an amazing season. And great point guards that are so atheletic can peak very early. Ask Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury. Rose is in a different galaxy compared to those guys. Superstars, which Francis and Marbury are not, do not peak at 22. There are plenty of point guards that play very well into their 30s. Nash and Kidd are examples. But have no fear, Rose is in his prime for 7 more years or so. And he will get better every year.
  4. Watch how much better Rose gets when you give him a shooting guard that can shoot. The paint will be even more open.
  5. Who was guarding Deng when Rose was being guarded by LeBron. They matchup should have been attacked.
  6. LeBron is probably the only guy in the league that could have shut down Rose late these last two games. Man LeBron is good.
  7. After throwing himself into Rose. I thought the officiating was even, but it was a bad call there. the foul wasn't called on the body contact. he threw his legs into rose, yes, but watch it in slow motion. even afterward, wade was pointing to his elbow (grain of salt, i know) Yes, he threw his arm into Rose
  8. Someone on ESPN said that it is actually illegal to block the plate but it is just common to do so. True?
  9. After throwing himself into Rose. I thought the officiating was even, but it was a bad call there.
  10. Looking at the replays, Rose's turnovers were just so unacceptable. But I am confident he will learn from them.
  11. Barkley said that Rose has to get his teammates more involved. Get their guy to double you in the paint so they can be more open and take high percentage shots. Rose drives through two guys faster than anyone but Iverson, but he is always looking to score. The thing I think he needs to work on is finding the guy who is open after that. He always looks to score. Sometimes that is a good thing, but becoming a better distributer is something I want to see.
  12. Wade is nowhere near a top 10 all-time player. If his career ended now, no, but he is on track to be very close. Wade is 11th in all time scoring average.
  13. I thought it was a bad call. After the shot Wade threw his arm out and purposefully hit Rose. Rose wasn't even in his way. It was a bad call, but it happens. The thing that Rose has to learn is that you are going to have to generally get clobbered to get fouls in the playoffs. The refs don't call games tight at this point.
  14. I really don't think anyone takes solace in that.
  15. I think getting to the Finals was the peak this team could have hoped for at the beginning of the season so you really can't be too disappointed. But two of those games were there for the taking which is why it hurts.
  16. Take 3 guys and cover Rose and Korver. Any team can do that. No not any team could do that. Miami is one of the best defensive teams in the league. Much easier said than done.
  17. They should have tried to run a play sooner at the end. Took far too long to develop.
  18. That was all about Thibs sending a message to Boozer and Noah. Thibs knew he got all he could out of Thomas, but I think he was just stubborn in the last two minutes.
  19. You don't have a worse last 5 minutes than that. And the Bulls have crapped on themselves for their last two final possessions. It all started the last two games with Boozer's TERRIBLE flagrant fouls.
  20. Do most catchers kneel down for that type of play? That seemed to keep his leg pinned under him. From what I can remember, most catchers just crouch for a play like that.
  21. he's better than Keith Bogans The biggest gripe we have heard about the Bulls is that they don't have a guy who can create his own shot and Crawford can definitely do that. He's a bad defender and only a 41% career shooter. He's fine as a sixth man type, but he's not good enough to put the Bulls over the top. Even though the Bulls haven't played up to their potential this series, they don't need much at all to put them over the top. The Bulls had plenty of chances to win this series. They don't need an All Star to put them over the top. Crawford is not a great defender, but the Bulls don't really have great individual defenders on this team. It is about the system.
  22. he's better than Keith Bogans The biggest gripe we have heard about the Bulls is that they don't have a guy who can create his own shot and Crawford can definitely do that.
  23. Hilarious! Sammy does look a little different after retiring. Maybe it has something to do with stopping roids.
  24. Boozer is playing dirty this series. You can take the dirt from a guy who is playing well, but he just looks silly out there.
