  1. You mean can't? All the Bear fans were happy that they had this ref because he was the one behind the 18 penalty barrage the Packers had earlier in the season. "all"? jesus christ. you are so full of [expletive] Seriously what's your problem? Do you have any idea how people talk and how language works? Do you take every single line you have ever heard absolutely literally just so you can supposedly tell me how much of an idiot you are? With that said, look back at the posts in this thread and every Bear fan was happy that the had this ref cause he was the guy who threw a ton of flags earlier in the season.

  3. Wow that was an incredible throw by Sanchez!
  4. If the decision on Cutler was made by the medical staff, why did they let him go out again in the second half?
  5. What Stephen A. Smith doesn't know is that he is the only person that Chicago hates more than Jay Cutler
  6. Here are the tweets from other NFL players on Cutler's injury. I've never torn an ACL, but isn'y it possible to stand on it after it is torn? http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Cutler-s-NFL-contemporaries-go-after-him-on-Twit?urn=nfl-311321
  7. Biggest single game IN CHICAGO in Chicago sports history. For reals. No. Just no. What one is bigger? dont be [expletive] stupid. there have been [expletive] of big games, SC finals, 2003 NL Champion 6 & 7, WSox WS, '85 NFC Champ this one sucked, but it wasnt "Biggest single game IN CHICAGO " I never said there weren't big games. Of course there were. This one was the biggest. I have yet to find a Chicago media personality who didn't say this was the biggest. The Stanley Cup finals are more than one game. Same for the NLCS. The White Sox did not win it here and it wasn't do or die in any of those. '85 NFC Championship wasn't as big because everyone knew the Bears were going to the Super Bowl. This one was against your rival. The Bear/Packer matchup was what put this over the edge.
  8. If Cutler really wanted to go back in, they should have let him. So if we're not blaming Cutler, we should be blaming Lovie for thinking he had a remote chance in hell of winning with Todd Collins or Caleb Hanie. With Hanie in, the Bears had more than a remote chance. Heck they were driving in Packer territory with a few minutes left to tie the game. Fact is, Hanie gave the Bears a better chance of winning than Jay if he had a busted ACL. In today's NFL, you go by what the doctors say. If he further injured his knee, it could be career threatening. Then there are lawsuits. I don't blame Lovie or Jay if it was the ACL. But I don't know if they would have known that's what it was without an MRI unless there are tests that you can do that give you a pretty good idea what is wrong.

  10. Smith said Cutler was disappointed he could not continue. "He was hurt, and he couldn't go," Smith said. "Trainers, doctors and all, they are the ones who really made that decision. As far as Jay, he is like everyone else; he was disappointed he couldn't go out and play to help his team win." http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/news/story?id=6051468

  12. Tell me the Bears go down 14-0 early, lose Cutler in the second half, and are driving late in the game to try to tie it up and I would have been happy. It just absolutely stinks that in the biggest game in Chicago in Chicago sports history that our QB went down. I just wish Jay could have played the entire game healthy.
  13. Vincent Jackson, Matt Light, or Jamaal Brown in the offseason.
  14. We don't officially know what kind of injury Cutler had. It isn't even about whether or not Cutler could go out there and play. He probably could have gone through brutal pain and played, but he would have been no good. Hanie gave the Bears a better chance of winning than a QB who couldn't move and couldn't stride forward to plant and throw.
  15. If it is the ACL, probably not. But should be by the beginning of the season. If there is a lockout the Bear doctors won't be able to do any rehab with him.
  16. When was the last time this team had a LT worth a damn? Tait wasn't too bad. His abrupt retirement kind of screwed things up. Big Cat Williams? Jimbo Covert?
  17. Any free agent LTs this offseason?
  18. Thing is, Hanie probably gave the Bears a better chance of winning than a hobbled Cutler considering the pressure he was under. whatever. they were going for broke at that point, and Hanie was just gun slinging it. they didn't do that all 1st half. Cutler was having trouble hitting guys who were pretty open. But the larger point is that Cutler was probably immobile and you can't have that with this line and the Packers pressure.

  20. You're dumb and easily the worst poster on this forum. Because I state facts? I don't get why you are so pissed off. It was just an odd stat. I just picked your most recent [expletive] post, since you've made so many [expletive] ones in the past half hour. So you chose to pick a post that was factually correct instead of the so called obvious ones? And I'm the dumb one?
  21. I don't think anyone said he had a concussion. I only heard of a knee.
  22. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=fleming/101028&sportCat=nfl George never even took a team to the playoffs. Call me crazy, but when Cutler's career is over, he'll have more on his resume than just this one playoff experience. No doubt.

  25. Exactly, he played a quarter with a concussion and we're questioning his toughness? No one knows when the concussion happened. It was never really made official. There were two plays that people thought it occurred on. I think one was the last play of the second quarter. Stop making crap up just to get arguments going. Not a good time. The schtick is already old, but it's really tired and annoying today. I'm not making anything up OK. The Bears and Lovie Smith were tight-lipped with it. I think Cutler is a competitor. At the time I didn't think he was hurt. I was wrong about that. But the point stands is that we don't know when it happened against the Giants.
