Why? If your goal is to win a championship and tanking one year brings you closer to it (better draft pick), that is a legitimate strategy.

Terrible draft pick by Carolina. They should have drafted Green and tanked this season and got Luck next year. They might be so bad that they have the opportunity to get Luck next year but won't. Did Rivera make that pick? AJ Green's career just died. I feel terrible for him.
