    I'm getting bullish on this team. As much as I dislike Forman, Pax has done a good job with drafts and trades. Parker is going to be gone after this year even though I was all for picking him up for a year because they had to get above the cap floor anyway. Carter is playing pretty good. You have a very nice, young core with Dunn, LaVine, Markkanen, and Carter. Can Carter every turn into a center to get all four of those guys on the court at the same time?

    Lombardi isn't totally wrong on the Bears though. They really haven't beaten a good team yet. Can only play who is on the schedule. They've only played IME 3 teams that are decent, the Seahawks, Dolphins and Patriots. Beat Seattle, a couple of plays made the difference in a close loss at Miami and the Patriots-Bears game was decided on 2 special teams TDs and a hail mary to the 1. Not that we should be counting almost wins at this point, but the point is that its not like the Bears are getting dominated in their losses. They haven't been dominated in any game this year. Also I'm pretty sure Lombardi is a former PFF guy and PFF has the Bears as one of the best teams in the league. Can only play who is on the schedule but they also haven’t beat anyone good on the schedule. Seattle was down a bunch of solid players at the time too. Beat the Vikings in 10 days and you can begin convincing those who question the Bears.

    I guess that's not as bad of a scenario as I thought it could be after seeing Kyle go down. Still, he's the heart and soul of the offensive line and the toughest and most important games are coming up. I thought I remember seeing that the line was pretty darn good at keeping Trubisky from getting sacked, but Mitch is great at running from pressure and making the line look better than they are. If Mack was 70% last week and the Bears held him back, what if he's 80% this week? The Bears can easily win without him, but he's playing in Buffalo where he went to college and Mack doesn't miss games outside of last week.

    Trade Howard and/or Floyd for second rounders? Not sure if you could get firsts for them, but they can be replaced fairly easily in the Bears offense and defense.

    Floyd needs to step up. I guess he’s been OK apart from sacks this year, but he needs to make some big plays today.
