You have to see if Fields can play and you have to give him more opportunities to find out
-
Fields has show more than just the occasional big play, he continues to hold on to ball, he's making bad reads, I don't care who his WR are, he's still making horsefeathers reads. What if Mike Martz is right?
-
They had Nagy call in that shotgun. Terrible indefensible play call.
-
Ask Olin what he thinks and he’ll punch you
-
Got too much Shaheen in him. He’s got hands of stone.
-
A TE who can catch!
-
SF had no QB or Kittle
-
Agreed but I wanted to see if the Bears would show anything fresh given new coaching staff. Nope. Same Bears. At least hoping for some second half adjustments like last week
-
Bears in a rebuilding year can’t expect to beat a team that has beat you last 11/12
-
That was Green Bay’s plan all along because they know the Bears can’t stop them
-
Gotta throw to the sticks please. Take the gloves off Fields too.
-
2nd and 28. Unreal.
-
Is Fields struggling to go through his progressions or not?
-
Big win. You can already see what better coaching looks like. Love the halftime adjustments too.
-
Well, Eberflus knows how to make second-half adjustments
-
Worse field: Soldier or Justin?
-
I missed it, what was embarrassing? The 2 inches of standing water on the field, the grid lines (which are barely visible), the water pouring down from the upper bowls, etc. Don’t forget the sidelines that look like they were painted by a drunk person

Bears go -7 yards on their first drive. Bears football is back, baby!

3” of rain in two hours is tough to deal with on any grass field. Issue is the city had multiple concerts recently, so the sod wasn’t able to take. Means there will be more of a mess on the field today. One of the reasons the Bears are moving.

Looks terrible, especially the striping

Hub Arkush had a medical emergency at Halas Hall a few weeks ago. Sounds like CPR was performed. No more details other than he’s still in the hospital and his recovery might be extended.
-
He’s been talking to the wrong guy all along!
-
Smith messed up by saying maybe the McCaskeys can salvage this, weakening his hand. But this is what it comes down to. Poles wants to take advantage of an unrepresented player, and if he can’t he’ll move on from another Pace guy in the name of getting guys who buy in to another rah rah BS system. Why are the only options taking advantage of an underrepresented player or move on from him and not pay him market value if you like him as a player?
