  1. According to @ProFootballDoc, team docs can’t travel across state lines with pain killers. Had this injury happened to a Seahawks player, he wouldn’t have received any meds immediately. Not sure if EMTs at the stadium can administer anything.
  2. Tomlin has a press conference today. Not sure if it’s just his usual end-of-the-year press conference or something bigger.
  3. Mitch is playing really well, but the last few weeks the Bears did a lot of dink and dunking
  4. Cousins and Stafford had on average 97 QB ratings the last 3 years with a 3:1 TD to INT rate (85:30) while throwing for about 4,500 yards per season. Trubisky is not better than that by a large margin. Gentlemen’s bet on who scores the most fantasy points between the three in a standard league? All things considered, I think Mitch had the best season by any QB in the NC North. I don't know where he stands in fantasy. Not first or second due to missed games. Cousins somehow has the best stats, but he failed in big games. I didn't see Mitch being this good, but Nagy obviously has really improved his play.
  5. According to Pro Football Doc, Miller dislocated his shoulder again, but he could play next week https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-anthony-miller-shoulder-bears-playoffs-1230-story.html
  6. How did Kyle Long look?
  7. Twitter is saying looking like Saturday afternoon. Lower 40*s for a January game is nice.
  8. This is the Hugh Douglas retribution game
  9. Played with fire, but hopefully Miller is OK. Everyone in the NFC fears the Bears.
  10. Well 2019 Parkey will probably be better than 2018 Parkey too. But spending much money on the K spot would be ill advised. It doesn't cost that much guaranteed to go and bring in a decent competitor for him. This. Absolutely go out and bring in some league minimum guys or use a 7th round pick or whatever to have a competition, but you can't spend real money on another kicker. The team has 25 in cap room after they cut Sims, but they need to retain or replace Amos, Callahan, and Massie as well as some of the depth guys like Lynch. Trevathan and Long are both cuttable, but either of those would be a robbing Peter to pay Paul situation IMO. Also, as bad as Parkey has been this year, the difference between his season and an average one is like 2-3 extra FGs and 1-2 extra points. Those can be important but it's not worth like $10m in effective salary salary. Parkey is the difference between getting a bye and playing next week
  11. No reason to be playing him
  12. If Fangio does leave, Bowles will be there as a d coordinator. So might Zimmer.
  13. He's got 5 million in dead cap next year, he'll be back barring some sort of playoff nightmare. If they cut Long they’ll get that money back.
  14. Parkey is gone next year. They’ll give Gould a one year deal.
  15. I’m going to just say it - the Bears are the best team in the NFL. I just wish I could trust their kicker.
  16. What a play by Gabriel. Pull the starters, please.
  17. Why is ODonnell that close to the field when the Vikings are kicking? At least the Bears are one of the least penalized teams in the league.
  18. What a punt from deep in your own end zone. And Cohen is still football dumb.
  19. A Kevin White sighting. Great catch.
  20. The Vikings stink. Let them in because they look like the weakest team in the NFC. but they aren't. I'd much rather face Philadelphia The Eagles have a QB or two that can win big games. The Vikings don’t.
  21. If the Bears are thinking about pulling them 6 minutes in, most of the starters should never have played That doesn’t make sense. The decision is based on game conditions. You can argue that they shouldn’t have played because there was no way the Rams were losing and if that’s your view it’s a valid opinion. I thought that there was at least a fighting chance for the 49ers based on how they’ve played of late. But 1 more TD and it will be pretty clear that the Rams are going to win comfortably Edit: also of concern is that the Seahawks are struggling today although it’s only 3-0 Arizona. If you want to avoid Seattle in round 1 you are keeping an eye on that one before pulling any starters The Rams had a 90% chance of winning which is why yesterday I said I was all for not playing any important starters today
  22. If the Bears are thinking about pulling them 6 minutes in, most of the starters should never have played horsefeathers that. knockk the vikings out f the postseason. The Vikings stink. Let them in because they look like the weakest team in the NFC.
  23. Cohen is a very talented football player. But he’s not bright. Still don’t trust Parkey on any kick he attempts. Vikings look really bad.
