  1. If the Bears are thinking about pulling them 6 minutes in, most of the starters should never have played
  2. Is that a real quote because that’s an insane thing to say Jabari thinks teams only care about offense, but why say what he said? He’s costing himself big money. Just buy him out already.
  3. At the very least he shouldn't play again this season. Hopefully he has someone in his life that can point him in the right direction. How would an injury retirement impact the cap room?
  4. Stay tuned. Based on his comments after the game, I'm scared as horsefeathers that he's coming back next year. How happy would Rose be as a 6th or 7th man on the Bulls? Maybe he knows that's his place now, but I don't see how that would help Dunn's development. How good of a team of Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Zion Williamson, Lauri Markkanen, and Wendell Carter next year because no great FA is coming here and a #1 pick is all that can propel this team forward. Williamson is what this team desperately needs, especially because the Bulls have no SF.
  5. You mean there’s only a 4% chance that a non-bye team makes it to the Super Bowl? I’m not worried about being a non-bye team. Defense travels. I’m more concerned that Mack or Trubisky or Hicks or Cohen gets injured. What if they get injured in the wild card game? I'm far more worried about a player getting injured in a game that has an incredibly small chance of mattering than I am about a player getting injured in a wild card game that you could have bypassed by playing the starters when too many things would have to happen to even be in that position in the first place
  6. It’s much more than not being guaranteed. It’s an incredibly small chance. That's crazy talk. It involves two football games, one of which is a little better than 50/50 and one of which is a little worse. The Rams are going to win 9/10 times. This isn’t even close to two 50/50 games.
  7. It’s much more than not being guaranteed. It’s an incredibly small chance.
  8. There’s also roughly a 96% chance (95.3% to be exact) that a non-bye team makes it to the Super Bowl. 6 teams out of 128 have done it since 2002. Such a dramatic difference in odds it’s worth trying to me. You mean there’s only a 4% chance that a non-bye team makes it to the Super Bowl? I’m not worried about being a non-bye team. Defense travels. I’m more concerned that Mack or Trubisky or Hicks or Cohen gets injured.
  9. He already essentially said the important players will get pulled.
  10. There’s a 96% chance that the Bears don’t get the bye. I wouldn’t play any important players.
  11. Let's hope C.J. Anderson doesn't rush for 167 this week
  12. I don’t feel good about the Bears winning this one. No Jackson, Lynch, Robinson. Vikes at home with everything to play for. I’m clinging to the idea that Cousins will flop in big games like he has typically done.
  13. Rose killed the Bulls. Derrick's great dunking ability is gone and he isn't as explosive, but he's an above average point guard. He's also shooting 46% from the three point line.
  14. Nagy said today that if the Rams begin to blow out the 49ers, they will “be safe” and presumably pull key players
  15. I wonder if Long gets any snaps. Test his ankle at least for a quarter.
  16. You seem to be actually rooting for Mitch to be bad. Continues to be so odd. You were most vocal about Cutler coming back last year, yet seem to be anxious to criticize Mitch in his 2nd season. He's not playing poorly at all. He made one bad play. Mitch is having the best Bear QBing season in decades outside of the great McCown run a few years back
  17. Mitch with the classic 139.9 rating so far today
  18. I don't see the Rams or Saints losing, so it's going to be a moot point. Nagy will play the starters this week and then sit most of them week 17. Nagy didn't play the starters in the final 2 preseason games, so he doesn't fear rest. But my fear is that the Bears haven't played well after weeks off or extended time off so maybe that changes how he goes about playing guys against the Vikings.
  19. Best Bears team since ‘85?
  20. Yeah, that's usually a 1-2 week injury, so we *should* be in the clear. The question now is how much should Nagy take his foot off the gas the next two weeks. Play next week like normal and them treat week 17 like a preseason game? Depends if the Rams lose tonight. The Bears can bring two players back from IR. They brought Shaheen back already. Hypothetically, if you could bring Callahan or Long back before the playoffs, who would you choose?
  21. My goodness could Chris Myers show any less excitement over a big play?
  22. Getting tired of Nagy's unnecessary cuteness
  23. Cody Parkey got a police escort to practice at Soldier Field https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-bears-cody-parkey-police-escort-20181211-story.html
  24. The constant air raid siren on defense is a litte much
