Still a good decade plus to go but back in 2009 I called him the most likely future HOFer of any of the young pitchers in the game. Since then he's fn gotten better. I thought I was just crazy guy talking, and probably still do but I'm just glad I'm not eating the words 3 years later. Johan Santana peaked at like 88 today....Still a good pitcher because he's a pitcher and therefore a savvy mfer, but man do I miss dominant Johan. Guy's mental makeup, work ethic, and toughness are just through the roof so it's not shocking to see him doing alright after a surgery that usually kills careers, especially at his age. One of the easiest athletes to root for that I've ever seen.
