    I will say, I do agree with ARCubsfan on the Cardinals-Giants topic. We're about to be 5 back of second place in the division if the Dodgers hold this lead. Worrying about the division seems kind of silly to me, even with how good the Cubs are. ALTHOUGH, arguing about who to root for as if it makes a difference is even more silly, I suppose.

    Not touching the base at all is protected under the neighborhood play? I guess it's not much different from when they're touching the base only when they don't have the ball, but it still seems kind of strange to me.

    lol, I was pretty pumped when I saw the title. But I didn't realize he's been terrible this year. Looks like he still throws hard and hasn't lost any velo since last season when he was good (though it is down almost 2 mph from 2013). Maybe he isn't totally done.

    Give me Richard or P Johnson. Clayton can at least keep the ball in the yard for 5-6 innings.

    So what do we do when Soler comes back? If Starlin, TLS, or Javy can take hold of the 2B job (not a lock that happens), then Soler probably goes to the bench if he returns at all.

    the video game move is coghlan playing at 2B, not RF, which we've done, you crazy ass weirdo True. But as good as the offense has been lately, they're not good enough to survive a world with Coghlan at 2nd and Bryant and Schwarber at the corners. And Fowler isn't exactly Lorenzo Cain in center. lol, my goodness. Come on man. 1) Coghlan will be playing RIGHT FIELD. 2) Coghlan and Bryant won't/wouldn't be worse in RF than Soler. I'd actually bet decent money Bryant would be a noticeably better outfielder than Soler, but instead he will remain at THIRD BASE.

    I'm not too broken up about Soler. We probably become better defensively, all things considered, and I have faith Maddon will play the right matchups between Starlin, TLS, and Javy.
