    I don't think players should be punished for the prevailing stupidity of the media when they played. Worrying about how a player was viewed while he played is what leads to stuff like Catfish Hunter and Jim Rice getting elected. But it is the Hall of Fame. Really the title basically says it is based more on perception then statistical facts Well then let's induct Eddie Gaedell, Mark Fidyrich, Joe Jackson, Deion Sanders, and Bo Jackson.

    The already shattered hearts of Expos fans. Both of them will get over it. You'd hate baseball too if you had a miserable human being sent to your team to torch it to the ground and pee pee on the ashes so the other 29 owners could make a buck off of you. It's disturbing what happened to the Expos. Somebody's going to make a really good documentary about the heinous [expletive] that went down there.

    Am I the only one that thought Gilbert was pretty good in the 2nd half? I thought Texas's WRs lost the game for them. (Well that and Brown shutting down the offense until it was time to give up a free 7 at the end of the half) A lot of drops from the kids that should've been stepping up. You had a 14 point swing on dropped passes from the RB's juggling of the shovel pass and the dropped TD by the guy who's name I can't remember. That's not to say Texas's offense wouldn't have performed better with McCoy. It most certainly would have, but I thought Gilbert did an ok job.

    Oh, really cause every other sports thing outside of the dark ages of the state of Alabama is calling it title # 8. Also, you beat Texas's B team, so I'll say title #7.5 Plus, you were probably on probation for the first 7, so congratulations on your first 1/2 title. Your team is terrible.
