  1. I hesitate to attempt to interpret any of Lou's thought processes lately, but I'd imagine it's because Gorz isn't stretched out enough yet to go much longer.
  2. Oh...I do not.
  3. Yeah, Johnson absolutely has to accept a 6 year max, even if he's resigning himself to never have a legit chance at a title.
  4. Why is that bad in the Lebron sweepstakes? Or do you think Lebron won't want some scrub like Joe Johnson making more money than him?
  5. I don't really think it is. I'm shocked you don't think so. You know what a Cavs homer I am
  6. Varejao 8.6 PPG 7.6 RPG 0.9 BPG Noah 10.7 PPG 11 RPG 1.6 BPG Sideshow Bob's a better defender Quite debateable. I don't really think it is.
  7. Well if that's the argument you go with to sway Lebron from Cleveland, wouldn't the obvious choice be to go to Miami, where they've actually won something? (assuming Wade is back)
  8. Maybe at winning regular season games. If there's one thing this current Bulls team has proven, it's that it's a postseason juggernaut. How many playoff games are the Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao led Cavaliers capable of winning? You realize that's the apples to apples comparison here. I don't know, not a lot. Just like the Bulls. It just seems odd to go with the "way to not win the title Cavs" argument, when you're dealing with a roster that has a combined 1 playoff series win 4 seasons ago.

  11. ACPM can't wait to collect another paycheck for nothing this season
  12. I agree, and I guess the point I'm making is that a rotation of Ryan Dempster, Randy Wells, Tom Gorzellany, Carlos Zambrano, and Carlos Silva next year is likely to be extremely mediocre, if that. Wells, Gorzellany, Zambrano, and Silva are all questionable. If the plan is to rebuild for the next year or two, then we don't need to keep or replace Lilly. However, if we want to contend, then his consistency in the rotation will need to somehow be retained or replaced. With Cashner, Diamond, and Jackson all ready for shots at the major league rotation, I think it would be a waste to start the year with 6 major league arms competing for 5 spots again. Unless you can trade a few of the other guys, I don't want Lilly back.
  13. CTT is really hoping to get the chance to coach him.
  14. FREE DA BUM
  15. Then you saw that he won't qualify at Mizzou anyway
  16. I love that we're going to have somebody else who can actually create their own shot.
  17. Yeah, Cliff Lee could have been conceived in Busch Stadium and he wouldn't sign for 11M/year
  18. They have no control over rumors. yeah, i don't undertsand the anger towards the players on this one. Um, they aren't human, what else do you need to understand? Somebody needs to see District 9
  19. Neither is Carlos Boozer
  20. Agreed. Let the other teams deal with these guys
  21. Actually, yes I do think that. Because, especially if Kobe gets one more ring, every mention of Kobe's greatness is going to compare him to Jordan. And people are going to say that Jordan did it without a true big man in the middle. Yeah, cause Scottie Pippen was dog [expletive] Pippen wasn't a big man. Who cares? Why do Kobe's rings mean nothing because he had a really good big man, but Jordan's are immaculate because his 2nd best player was a SF? Oh right, cause IT'S MICHAEL!!!
  22. That implies that they wouldn't if he goes to Miami or NY? Nike wouldn't even endorse him if he went to those teams

  24. Or maybe even a 10 day contract, and then on July 18th, he can resign for a max deal. bird rights don't transfer until after year 3, pretty much so stuff like this doesn't happen. Maybe Bosh will sign a 3 year league minimum contract, that way he can get the 6 year re-sign deal with the Bulls.
