  1. So you're saying we won't win
  2. My biggest issue with it now is all the missed dunks. You know what MJ, Vince, and Nique great? They all did it on the first try. That and they didn't need a thousand props to catch an alleyoop and dunk it with two hands. Oh and I hate Kenny Smith. the degree of difficulty on some of those dunks is so off the charts now that a couple of misses per attempt is pretty much going to be a staple Michael wouldn't have missed those dunks
  3. The Cardinals will sign him along with Fielder, Buehrle and Aramis for ~20M
  4. Whoever designed these unis should be taken out back and shot
  5. Elston's foot couldn't reach that far
  6. That's actually not accurate. They were a pretty good team (probably 90-92 wins good) who was really injured most of the year and got healthy the last 2-3 weeks of the season. They did get inexplicably hot, but the biggest factor by far was the fact that they had all their "horses" for pretty much the first time all year. I don't think that's accurate at all. Edmonds was the only one to miss significant time. They were just a mediocre team that got lucky.
  7. He's definitely going to KU now. I don't think he'll be eligible to play anywhere. I doubt there's even enough KU pixie dust to make that happen. Since when was graduating high school a requirement to play at Kansas?
  8. I don't think he got that off
  9. My favorite part of the last 2 pages of insanity is that Prince Fielder, Mark Buehrle, and Aramis Ramirez are only going to cost 30M total
  10. Didn't recall this.
  11. Actually Ramirez and Castro are the only 2 that haven't reported. Soriano showed up recently. As long as they're not white.
  12. Or it's just a ridiculous sum of money to those making middle-class wages. I certainly don't begrudge certain classes of people for what they make as it is what the market will bear. However, I just can't empathize with someone making $10 million dollars a year wanting to make $20 million. I want my bills to get paid on time. But you empathize with the billionaire owner who wants to hold on to even more money for himself
  13. The Illinois fans have a clear bias against Purdue?
  14. But...everyone told me the Nets deal was dead!!
  15. Undoubtedly, and if that's what he wants to go after, he'll get his money. I still say when it's all said and done, he'll take a little less (but still get a ton of freaking money) to stay in STL. Yeah, but a little less from what he's asking still seems to be way out of their price range. Albert seems to indicate in his most recent quotes that what the media is reporting as his "asking price" isn't accurate. Could well just be him trying to throw the media off...but I guess we'll see. Albert also has to play an entire season in front of these weirdos and doesn't want everyone thinking he's a selfish jerk. (Not that asking for what you're worth makes you a selfish jerk, but baseball fans in general are buffoons, let alone those St. Louis sycophants
  16. "Ridiculous hair?" Don't hate because you're going bald already. That is a majestic mane. Andy comes from the Ron Swanson school of haircut acceptability
  17. Hey guys, pretty sure Evan Longoria is going to stay in Tampa his entire career. He took less to stay with them in the past, and has never really been about the money.
  18. So because he signed a team-friendly contract 6 years ago while he was still in arbitration he isn't about the money and will take less to stay in St. Louis???????
  19. Shut up you idiots, trading away Chris Duncan in '09 was just the first in a series of moves that ends with Pujols re-signing.
  20. Yep, the Cardinals will just go out and find a diamond in the rough like Colby Rasmus
  21. They had a funny way of showing it No reason to offer him a record breaking deal until they have to. There is reason to offer him a deal that isn't insulting (Spin) Sounds like a guy who has to play another season with the team he turned down.

  23. Wonder how long I'd last.
