  1. Has your age ever truly been verified? my performance isn't based partly on my age and unfortunately no one is considering paying me 200-300 mil over the next 8-10 years You worried about Z, Castro, Marmol, etc.?
  2. I guess I just never noticed him. I do remember Jess Settles's 15 year career if that helps
  3. Horrible, should've traded him the to rays. There goes money for Pujols to be sent into another guaranteed injury. Never ever sign relievers to contracts longer than 1 year. Hendry needs to go. Please TT
  4. I'm too young for Jake Jaacks. I did find this while googling him though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_Hawkeyes_men's_basketball Iowa hasn't had a player worthy of being named MVP of the team since '07
  5. It was a typo, he meant to say a bajillion
  6. Iowa is already represented, and Brody wasn't all that dirty. Greg Brunner
  7. Why is everyone freaking out about the 24 hour extension now, and not 6 hours ago when it was first posted?
  8. Then I guess we can feel confident that he won't be a Cardinal
  9. 3.2 this year? I know it's tight, but the injury hedge has to be a worthwhile investment. Hopefully his arm is young enough from catching that he doesn't go boom until 2014. Anyone have an idea how insurance works on something like this? Hypothetically speaking if you have 100% coverage in case of injury, and Marmol goes bust in spring training 2013, does the 9.8M get covered, or is it the average value of the contract that's covered?
  10. wtf??
  11. My understanding is it's Pujols who set the deadline, not the Cardinals.
  12. So you think the fact that Harang has been bad and injured ever since this is a coincidence. And that you would know better than Harang what caused damage to his arm.
  13. Really?
  14. http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/09Zw3373rrdDc/610x.jpg
  15. Oh good, it's been exactly one year since we last argued about adding 20 pounds of muscle in an offseason.
  16. Wade was and always will be inside of Lebron's shadow on the national stage. It should have been a much larger story than it was and I hate to say it: But people just didn't care enough on the whole, for it to be a bigger story. It just reminds me of the Cutler-Rothlisberger poll on ESPN, where fans said they hated Cutler more than a rapist. People's priorities are [expletive] up I don't know how the priorities are mixed up with hating Lebron more than Wade though. Lebron is a far better player than Wade, and a whole lot younger. He let Bulls fans (and fans of other teams) think they had a shot up until that stupid show. Wade might have teased Bulls fans, but once Lebron said Miami, everybody knew that Wade wasn't coming. From that perspective, you can blame Lebron for that, too. Because people think LBJ is a worse person for not picking their team than Wade is for using his kids to get himself more attention.
  17. I kinda want to buy a Pujols Cubs jersey now.

  19. I think it's weird that everyone hates Lebron so much for the free agency spectacle, but Wade has gotten away with using his kids as a prop when he was "considering" Chicago.
  20. I wish Harris would have actually landed that elbow on him.
  21. I agree with this for the most part. I lost some respect for him for taking the so-called easy route and not being a part of building a winner with the team that drafted you like other superstars did, but that's a minor thing. I still can't figure out how he thought Miami gave him a better chance to win than the Bulls did, though. He could have been on a team with Rose, Noah, Boozer (or possibly Bosh), and a good bench yet he thought that the pairing with Wade, Bosh, no PG, no center, and no bench would be the place to win a championship. Stunning. He wanted to play with his friends, not mumbles and bozo t clown
  22. Strange? Perhaps not. Selfish, narcissistic attitude towards life? Definitely. From a professional athlete??? Surely you jest
  23. You guys still hate Indiana and Iowa? SCARS DON'T GO AWAY
  24. What the [expletive] is wrong with you?
