I agree with this for the most part. I lost some respect for him for taking the so-called easy route and not being a part of building a winner with the team that drafted you like other superstars did, but that's a minor thing. I still can't figure out how he thought Miami gave him a better chance to win than the Bulls did, though. He could have been on a team with Rose, Noah, Boozer (or possibly Bosh), and a good bench yet he thought that the pairing with Wade, Bosh, no PG, no center, and no bench would be the place to win a championship. Stunning. He wanted to play with his friends, not mumbles and bozo t clown

Sorry, by "studies" I meant football. My understanding is you get your scholarship revoked, and you can't go play at another d1 school for a year. An engineering student loses their scholarship, they're still majoring in engineering

There are set standards that somebody on academic scholarship needs to meet to maintain their scholarship. If you take the football players to be majoring in football, they lose their scholarship, and can't immediately continue their "studies", unlike an engineering student who loses their scholarship

We just went through like 3 weeks ago. Student sections are homers and get upset about bad calls. Purdue students boo every [expletive] foul. There is no reason for Illinois to have a dislike of Purdue, but we all think your fans are the worst, and it takes a lot for us to hate something more than their Indiana or Iowa counterparts.

Your expectations are out of whack. Wright/Dixon would only leave their respective schools for a UNC/Duke/Kansas type of job. How's Sean Miller down in Arizona? Perhaps he's had enough of Pac 10 land and wants to come back to the Midwest. Grant is another name I'd consider. I'd also look for long tenured assistants at major programs, perhaps a Chris Collins. Holy [expletive], I'd rather promote Jay Price than hire Collins

I know you are trying to help, but if it was just this game fine. We freaking find ways to lose games like this. If I could pick Paul, Richmond, and Richardson or Terone Johnson, Byrd, and Barlow. Well... that's pretty easy... Paul and Richardson did both play 32 minutes, so at least he's letting them play. Richmond had a tough game, but I don't think there's any doubt about his ability. I don't watch a lot of Illinois ball, but Cole displayed horrible body language throughout. I can't believe losing him isn't a good thing. Cole is the number one player in America in offensive efficiency. Yeah, a big guy averaging under 6 points a game. I think you can safely toss that stat out. Seriously? Offensive efficiency has nothing to do with usage rate
