  1. I don't hate the Big East, I'll probably vote to give them 11 teams.
  2. You just think Team A is from the Big East because they should probably be in the tourney.
  3. He's had a double-double in every game since November 19th
  4. I'm not totally sold on Team A being in, but I've said elsewhere that team B has done nothing to deserve a bid
  5. Great insight. Well doesn't he? He's getting old, he's broken down with injuries, and he can't play 3B anymore.
  6. I'll bet the field
  7. Right. And I already stated I was wrong about his SO/BB #'s changing. I have no vested interest in being right in this argument. Hell...I have a vested interest in being wrong. However, I'll maintain my skepticism. MOST players can't strikeout that often and still consistently put up an OPS+ around 130 or above. Hopefully Pena is more talented than I'm giving him credit for. If his OPS+ is blow 125 and he's batting 3rd, we're in trouble unless we have a bunch of guys hovering right around there. If we have a bunch of guys hovering around a 125 OPS+ we'll have the best offense in baseball
  8. Robbie Hummel. Purdue's women's basketball coach
  9. Unless you think Pena's 2010 is his new established talent level, he doesn't "make a lot of outs"
  10. Great...the head of the committee says he looks at total wins as the most important factor. Get ready for some garbage small conference teams making the tourney.
  11. Absolutely
  12. How in the [expletive] does Sullinger get called for 2 fouls in 5 minutes vs. Indiana's goons after committing 2 fouls total in Big Ten play?
  13. Kinda wanted that cheerleader to cost Louisville the game.
  14. I can't believe how dumb the Nationals are. They gave up 2 players better than Soriano (Wilkerson and Sledge) in that trade, all to pay Soriano 10M to OBP 300.
  15. I'm just not real comfortable with Bielfeldt being in the rotation next year. It's already asking a lot for Shaw and Egwu to be contributors from the word go. Has Bielfeldt even committed yet? No, but if he has an unconditional offer, I have no idea why he woudln't take it

  17. II'm just saying we actually have pretty good talent right now. Two or three years ago I would have said our talent level sucked. Next year we should add four more 4 stars and a 3. But, I get the feeling we are gonna lose a guy or two to transfers. Do you have anything concrete on the transfers, or is it the same rumblings that have been talked about by the beat writers? Have you been following on Illinois loyatly? Griffey's dad hasn't had anything good to say about Weber or his rotations at all. Ugh. Never been there, I guess I"ll have to start.

  19. [expletive], IG must every Illinois comment be viewed through fire Weber glasses.
  20. How the hell did that team win 45 games?
  21. Nobody should ever be compared to Michael. Execept maybe Jesus.
  22. Just got opening day. I'm pretty damn jacked for this
  23. No but as long as he keeps recruiting like this he's going to ocassionally get lucky and make deep runs like that. If you're Baylor that's pretty good. He has the #5 player in the country coming next year and the #2 player in '12 along with another top 50 kid next year. I agree that, for Baylor, talent and a lucky run every now and again are pretty good. But man, Drew is not a good coach. This year he has on his roster: Sr LaceDarius Dunn (5*, #6 SG from 2007) Jr Anthony Jones (4*, #6 SF from 2008) Jr J'Mison Morgan (5*, #3 C from 2008) So Nolan Dennis (4*, #16 SG from 2009) Fr Perry Jones III (5*, #3 C from 2010) and a several athletic role players. And he hasn't done squat with them, in a Big 12 with only 2 elite teams. Everyone else in the league is beatable, yet they'll struggle to get to .500. Sounds like Bruce Weber. I'd kill for that talent
