Griffey has to be the worst rebounder ever for a kid his size. Leonard has a lot to learn as well.

Egwu is going to be really good. He does so many little things well, other than being a pure athlete for his size. He followed up a foul miss with a great run=the-court rebound and lay in. It didn't count obviously, but I love to see it. Needs to gain some toughness, but he's a freshman, so it's to be expected.

If for some reason we don't end up with Pujols or Fielder, any interest in Lee at 1B? He's always hit really well at Wrigley. He's only under contract through 2012 and is owed $18.5mil. meh, had you suggested this 4-5 years ago i'd say hell yeah! not so much now Definitely getting old, but he was 4.6 WAR last season per B-R. Just another option that's out there. Wasn't much of that WAR from his hilarious defensive ratings? -

Two others? Lozano's right middle finger and his left middle finger, as he tries to extract more from the Cardinals. I figured those fingers would be busy elsewhere.

It really varies too much between different types of players to be useful to generalize, but player peaks are much younger than most people realize. 27-32 is far too old. This. Wrong. Dusty Baker said that Roger Craig said that players peak at 32-34. I think it was even more ridiculous. Something like 36-38.

That's the way I read it. Don't you see a flaw in the fact that the fat players have a lower baseline to start from? If there was no information on the weights of players it'd make sense to say worse players decline quicker and at an earlier age than better players.
