  1. Bets (in order of confidence) BAL -7.5 DEN +13 NYG +8-9 NO -3.5 I really like the AFC lines.
  2. Whoa, I missed that. That's crazy talk for pretty much any college team. And Indiana is one that relies heavily on a true freshman anchoring the post.

  4. What is to stop a team from posting a ridiculously high amount just to prevent the player from going to another team, then low-balling the offer because they never intended to spend that much on the player in the first place? If it's determined that the winning team is not negotiating in good faith, the Japanese club can move on to the next bid.
  5. I can't believe you people. The [expletive] Patriots??? Really? Rise above Timmy.
  6. Since you guys were wondering, here's his post-game facebook status.
  7. I dunno, it's hard for me to understand how people can still get annoyed at the religious stuff. Tebow has been in the spotlight for five years now and his faith has been in our faces the entire time. It does seem over-the-top, but at this point I hardly notice, except when he's praying to God on the sidelines about the outcome of a football game. So because he's done the same thing for that long means we can't get annoyed by it? Nonsense. It makes it a hell of a lot more likely(combined with his upbringing and missionary trips) that he's not putting on an act.
  8. I don't think anyone is saying he had a bad game. But man, let's not sell this Yates guy short. He can beat you so many ways! Take away his pass? No problem. Take away his run? No problem. He'll just rally the defense around him. Those are intangibles you just can't coach. Can you imagine the pressure that kid was under? Texans had NEVER been in the playoffs, nevermind won a playoff game! They told him he'd never make. He's a 5th round pick, he'll never amount to anything! But then he just goes out there and wins the Pepsi NFL Player of the Week and the Texans first playoff game EVER. This is embarrassing.
  9. Yes? ETA: Oh, you were talking about Castro.
  10. Boston and DiceK were worlds apart at first too.
  11. For half the yardage and nothing on the ground. If it wasn't Tebow none of you would be arguing against him having a good game.
  12. So...Snayke's theory is that Tebow didn't have a good game.
  13. maybe my eyes deceived me, but i thought demaryius thomas played. Forgot Thomas didn't play the full season.
  14. Losing to a better team. 316 passing yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT, 125 rating, 10 rushes for 50 yards, 1 TD Did it all without his #1 WR against one of the best defenses in the NFL. This is good for a laugh. Do you think they'll stand a chance against the Jets next week? Did I say anything false in the post above? Do the Steelers count as a good team for you? Or are we still holding to there being 3 good teams in the NFL?
  15. Well then.
  16. Fox was actually letting Tebow throw the ball today, so they're not comparable situations
  17. Here's how Pittsburgh's horrid defense ranked in the regular season: Points Allowed: 1st Yards Allowed: 1st Passing Yards Allowed: 1st Yards per Pass Attempt: 1st Rushing Yards Allowed: 8th Yards per Rush: 9th Yards per Play: 1st 1st Downs Allowed: 1st
  18. Losing to a better team. 316 passing yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT, 125 rating, 10 rushes for 50 yards, 1 TD Did it all without his #1 WR against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Riiiiiiiight. The Steelers played horrid defense and somehow allowed 300+ passing yards to a QB who still can't complete 50% of his passes. I will give Tebow credit that he made some really good deep throws, but he also missed many more passes that even an average NFL QB should make. His stat line looks great, but is a little bit misleading. It's hard to complain about a QB who threw over 300 yards in his first start in the playoffs in his first year as a starter. Fact is, there is a chance that he develops and makes better throws as he does develop. There are better QB's than him but he does do some positive things. Any of those positive things are due to bad defense. Even when the defensive unit is really [expletive] good

  20. [expletive] YES
  21. Great point about sending some guys on a Hail Mary play. You don't need 8 guys standing in the end zone all trying to bat the ball down.
  22. Luckily we're no longer on the hook for Z's 9M buyout.
  23. I'm not sure holding exists anymore
  24. Stupid challenge.
