Any chance this guy actually knows the Weber family, or is more likely just a weirdo? it's possible he's a student that knows weber's daughter. some idiot ripped up a picture of bruce right in front of her for some reason. Authorities believe larue was involved.

Is it just me, or is Brewer's jumpshot aim pretty terrible? It seems like most other jump shooters are either long or short, but usually on line. Brewer's shots veer to the right a lot of times....even on free throws. They're really ugly if the camera happens to be directly behind the shot. Yeah, I've never noticed before, but I was giggling at his free throws yesterday.

After putting the top 3 and bottom 3 from the at-large pool out there, I could barely see a difference in the remaining 21 teams. All those A-10 teams started to blend together in my head. ETA: I agree that Tennessee's resume shocked me. I kinda like them now.

Did he play in the 2nd half today? LOL. It is mind boggling the way they ignored him when he destroyed us in the first 3 halves and we had the same personnel on him. Iowa did pressure the ball more though and I thought he quit fighting for position when he wasn't getting touches. If the rest of the season is any indication, he probably had played the entire game and had 2 guys on him the entire time. That tends to exhaust a 19 year old.

I think there is a very real possibility that the area surrounding Wrigley doesn't survive the celebration. I tell people here in Texas that I think the whole city may implode. If it does, I will go with it. No way the Cubs are in the WS and I'm not in Chicago even if I can't get a ticket. I told my wife in 2003 and 2008 that if the Cubs made it to the WS and it looked like they would have a potential clinching game in Chicago, I was going to be taking off work and school and flying up there, if even just to stand on the street outside. She, of course, said I was crazy. Which I am. Being so emotionally invested in an team/game that has no tangible effect on your life and over which you have absolutely no control of is [expletive] crazy. But it is what it is. At least you didnt' drive up from school to watch the Game 7 in '03. That was one shitty drive home. -
