  3. For the one bid champs, are we just ranking those 9 teams, ranking the one bid teams beyond those 9, or ranking all one bid champs including those 9? ETA: And are we eliminating 20 more teams beyond the initial 20 we personally sent, or is there a group of 20 who are out of at-large consideration we should be removing?
  4. Here's what I sent to bukie last night: VA Nova Duke KU Xavier Purdue North Carolina Michigan State Cincinnati Texas Tech Auburn Tennessee Michigan Gonzaga Clemson West Virginia Wichita State Ohio State Kentucky Florida Southern Illinois Toledo Furman Bucknell Utah Valley South Dakota UC Davis Penn Lipscomb Wright State Northern Kentucky UNC Asheville SE Lousiana FL Gulf Coast Iona Radford Wagner Long Island SWAC(Grambling is ineligible for the tournament due to APR) Bethune Cookman
  5. My methodology that I'm certainly not sold on. G1: Wins worth 2, losses worth .5 G2: WIns worth 1, losses worth 1 G3: Wins worth .5, losses worth 2 G4: Wins worth nothing, losses worth 3. Rounded up halves on losses, and down on wins. Did not strictly adhere to it, but just ran the numbers for the teams off the nitty gritty in order to kind of group teams in similar areas with raw numbers, then worked from those groups individual breakdowns (obviously not all wins or losses in a group are created equal) to try to establish a hierarchy
  6. *squints* I have no idea who "reayel piatko"? is and neither does google. Renyel Pinto. I do feel like Guzman has about 12 extra letters in his last name though.
  7. What the horsefeathers is wrong with the blue shell??? Apart from making winning a bad thing, absolutely nothing. And that doesn't go for all power-ups? Red shells punish being ahead as well. So does the likelihood of getting nothing but useless junk while sitting in first. On the flip side, get a blue shell and work your way to 1st on your own rather than using it, and you're basically invincible, rewarded for winning.
  8. What the horsefeathers is wrong with the blue shell???
  9. i didn't know it was possible not to have heard this story at some point. feels like it's brought up all the time. Yeah, well I didn't know it was possible to not know who Rick Wrona was.
  10. lol i mean on the one hand i agree with you and think most of the outrage around whatever tebow is doing in the minors is ridiculous (HES TAKING AT BATS AWAY FROM REAL PROSPECTS,) but on the other hand your nonstop devotion to defending him is one of the most inexplicable things to happen on this board I think you underestimate how much free time I have. I don't even see how my posts in this thread come close to devotion.
  11. What is he supposed to say?
  12. They have for those and bleachers. The new best value is the front of 200
  13. For those curious. (Ed. for UMFan's link) 1. Virginia 2. Villanova 3. Xavier 4. Purdue 5. Auburn 6. Kansas 7. Duke 8. Cincinnati 9. Clemson 10. Texas Tech 11. Michigan State 12. North Carolina 13. Tennessee 14. Ohio State 15. Arizona 16. Oklahoma I'd be shocked if Bruce Pearl was involved in something untoward.
  14. I thought it was even more horrifying than that where Maddux went back willing to take the Cubs previous offer which was less than the Braves offered but Himes told him the offer was off the table(the money having been spent on Guzman and...Greg Hibbard?)
  15. Mostly likely to play on a team with his son and grandson Hahahah :-) Man, he could actually be a grandpa at what like 35 or 36? It's possible right? Only in an Eddie Gaedell situation
  16. That one year Richard Lewis had in the minors was fun at least. I remembered it as Cruz being out of options and them wanting a lefty in the pen? I guess ultimately it didn't hurt that much, but man, Cruz still seemed so young at the time.
  17. Always check the username Ryan.
  18. Rob Goldman
  19. I’m really going to enjoy the cognitive dissonance on PEDs for Pettitte vs Clemens
  20. McMahon is way too stubborn to walk away before starting
  21. Clemens and Bonds aren't going to progress like normal candidates. There are plenty of voters who will never vote for them, that I don't know how to predict what happens with them. Absent some grand proclamation from the HOF or MLB, I'd bet on them being Veterans Committee guys.
  22. Sammy stays on at 7.8%, Kerry gets 2 votes, Zambrano 0.
  23. Why aren't the Cardinals listed?
