The 3 of them also amassed combined negative WAR the rest of their career.

    I doubt Merrifield or Gennett could handle SS, and Merrifield is still cheap enough that the Royals would probably require a hell of a lot. Galvis seems like a good fit, 1 year deal on a terrible team, but he's kind of terrible himself.

    VBs are going to wreck that stat soon enough. Heh, there are 5 teams in the NL with losing records. The 3 teams everyone knew would be terrible, and the other 2 presumed division winners.

    He's behind Jim Sundberg and I-Rod if you're looking at a per-game basis. There are also guys behind him who would be ahead of him by rate including Charlie Bennett, Del Crandall(those guys might be made up), Charles Johnson, Steve Yeager, and Henry Blanco. I also don't know how comfortable I am with catcher defensive metrics to be certain about his relative standing.
