  1. No more worried than I was to bring Milton Bradley from Arlington to Wrigley. Or Marlon Byrd. I read that to assume he was referring to the nightlife? Bingo
  2. Some semblance of thinking involved, maybe. But it's not logical at all. Bases loaded, 1 out: 1.631 runs expected 1st & 2nd, 0 out: 1.556 runs expected Like I said, I'd rather not do it if it means that we pass over Castro and LaHair to get there and risk a bad bunt, but it is a (ever so slightly) more optimal scenario to get to. Even moreso if Castro is supposed to be swinging if the infield charges in, I can understand the logic. It's only optimal if all the hitters are the same.
  3. I seriously can't think of more than 1 or 2 examples.
  4. I'm very surprised we aren't at least 99% self-sufficient.
  5. Anybody worried about bringing Hamilton from Arlington to Wrigleyville?
  6. Was it about GRINDERS? I think it was the one about Mike Caruso's 2 run homer in a game at Wrigley. I think the Sox swept that series. Nah, some walk off grand slam by Ventura. Then how he cares about fundamentals and playing the game the right away, and omg kill me.
  7. Good God, was flipping channels and just came across the most meatbally White Sox commercial ever.
  8. because....? I don't like to reward stupidity. Then why would you want to reward Cardinals fans
  9. I think you are confused...other way around. Every team except for 1 (KC) above SD is an NL team. San Diego had the least number of sacrifice bunts in the NL. Every team below them was an AL team. Edit: Wait I counted wrong. San Diego was 16th/30 but 15/16 in the NL. Arizona was behind them. Sorry about that. Derrrrrrr
  10. Something has to be wrong with your numbers. There's no way every team with a DH had more SH than the 16 without one.
  11. That's the problem. The [expletive] meatballs, and the buffoonish clowns of the media are going to use those errors as proof that bunting works.
  12. I think the problem with our offense today has been not enough bunting.
  13. I'm pretty sure Shawn Camp is Tony Campana's father.
  14. They should give Molina an RBI for the courage to make that throw!!
  15. Nice Switchfoot walk-up music, you [expletive] loser.
  16. I really don't like that Reed Johnson is our first bat off the bench vs. a righty
  17. Don't worry, TT, I got it. And I liked it. Liked it a lot.
