These are probably my favorite types of quotes in these pinata articles/posts. I feel like it happens more with KenPom probabilities, oh yeah where's your math now tough guy???? You said there was a 68% chance of them winning, but they didn't win did they? Only 68% off there nerd I read it more as the wind was sucked so much out of the Cubs sails that the game was pretty much over at that point. Basically, there was no way the Cubs would overcome the huge loss of momentum and anyone who actually watches baseball games knows this as opposed to people who solely read box scores. Whatever was meant though, it's a really stupid point. Momentum's easy to spot after the fact. Too bad you have 19 spazzes every game thread trying to point out dumb [expletive] like this in advance. Len asked Bob if he wanted to go grab Duff to explain the passed ball rule to him. "Uh, no." Len kinda laughs and called him interesting or something else like that. After 40 seconds or so they mentioned how his cakes are nice, presumably because their PR person told them to.

Nah; if the half inning after the stretch is dragging they'll often allow/encourage (politely) the guest to leave. Sounds like Len & Bob just took advantage of the commercial break for the pitching change and ushered him out diplomatically. And then made their disdain for him quite clear after the break.

Yeah, I just viewed his splits. Still, I think the best players should play regardless of what hand the pitcher throws with, outside of scheduled off-days every now and then. Especially when LaHair had his best game yesterday in the past 2 weeks and, it's not like Baker is really hitting anyone this year. How'd you feel about Jacque Jones sitting vs lefties?
